Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem: Following the ceasefire, the next phase is the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanese territory, according to a clear timetable. Israel has no option but to withdraw from Lebanese territory. Not a single inch of land can remain occupied under any pretext, alongside the cessation of aggression by land, sea, and air, and the deployment of the Lebanese Army. Israeli Defense Minister Katz said the IDF may take control of territory in Lebanon if the Lebanese government fails to stop Hezbollah from attacking Israel. "I warned the President of Lebanon that if the Lebanese government does not know how to control the territory and prevent Hezbollah from threatening the northern communities and firing toward Israel, we will take the territory and do it ourselves," Kayz said. He added that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the IDF to prepare to expand operations in Lebanon to restore security to Israel’s northern communities.
