I feel it's consistent with the view of Americans that any politician that is calling for an "Assault weapons ban" is failing to uphold their oath to the Constitution and should be removed from office and imprisoned.

“Shall not Infringe” seems pretty clear?

What is her definition of an 'assault weapon'? I feel my right to kill a lot of people quickly is completely necessary if I need to defend myself from a group of people illegally carrying 'tools of war' that want to harm me. Why should I be at a disadvantage?

The choice is VERY CLEAR AMERICANS!

Where in the 2nd Amendment does it allow for government to make exceptions for certain firearms? I can't find the part. Can anyone find it?

Meanwhile, the illegal aliens she allowed in our country is the reason why we need a plethora of them!! Buy more guns & ammo

Kamala Harris's statement, "I feel very strongly that it is consistent with the Second Amendment and your right to own a gun to say that we need an assault weapons ban," reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of the Second Amendment. The right to bear arms, as guaranteed by the Constitution, is not subject to selective interpretation or arbitrary restrictions that serve political interests. The Second Amendment explicitly ensures that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." This is a clear, direct statement that does not leave room for laws that outright ban certain types of firearms, such as so-called "assault weapons." Banning a whole class of guns based on appearance or arbitrary classifications restricts the rights of law-abiding citizens—individuals who have the constitutional right to defend themselves, their families, and their property. Harris's push for an assault weapons ban undermines the very spirit of the Second Amendment. Instead of focusing on enforcing laws that target criminals and illegal gun use, she is advocating for laws that punish responsible gun owners. Assault weapons bans historically have proven ineffective in reducing violent crime. What such bans do, however, is strip responsible citizens of their right to own firearms of their choosing, an action that goes against the constitutional framework. Harris’s approach represents a dangerous precedent: giving the government more power to selectively determine which rights citizens can exercise. If she truly believes in the importance of the Second Amendment, she should focus on safeguarding the rights it protects, rather than undermining them through ineffective, politically-motivated legislation.

Even a mildly competent reporter would have asked “exactly what kind of gun do you own and when did you get it?”

she can't answer a single question...

Wait.. I thought she said in the debate that both her and Tampon Tim were gun owners and she wasn’t coming for our guns at all?
