I really wish Chin-lan finds a girlfriend for herself. There's always this bittersweetness behind the wholesomeness in Kamiina Botan

at this point 2026 is allergic to having bad openings; China’s Kamiina Botan OP is genuinely one of the best directed/boarded i’ve ever across. The 4:3 aspect ratio and the look of it just adds so much soul to it.

Chinashi's Kamiina Botan OP is fantastic. Handheld camera so Yamada-esque it feels straight out of Tamako at some point, but more importantly, an immediately nostalgic vibe to everything. Feels like it's meant for the characters themselves, to reminisce years later drink in hand

Fugo took over as the sole key animator for Kamiina Botan #02, entirely shifting the show's style. Linework that embodies his current ksd era and an overall emphasis on comfortable posing, using neck & torso articulation to add nuance to body language and acting. Pure modern fugo
