@AdamMaina_ Kangemi never disappoints. You will find even mkokotenis and boda bodas crossing like pedestrians, or even keeping right like we are in Enugu, Nigeria Not to mention one lane that’s a parking space and the second one a matatu stage.

Kangemi is so annoying, from the rotten smell to people crossing anyhow, to stupid matatus.

This is the most useless section of waiyaki way!!! 3 lanes reduced to 1 lane! Amazing staff. And surprisingly there are always cops there managing the one lane left by matatus and traders

@KeNHAKenya Check on this .. how does a road suddenly have just one lane moving because there is a bus stop apo and a market and some bumps that dont make any sense

Blame politicians for it. They were even given alternative place bt wapi

@KeNHAKenya should implement what they are doing along Thika Super Highway and Mombasa Road along this stretch too Remove all illegal business installations from Major Routes. They add to the traffic congestion & Eye sore effect Traders need to use Market spaces availed to them

I think the biggest issue is "private" motorists coming to Kangemi have turned 2 lanes into a parking lot. Yes, they park on the highway. The rest of you must wait as they reverse or wait for a slot

UDA thinks that Nairobi will become Singapore by only building affordable houses. Singapore journey should be all rounded. This type of lawlessness should be dealt without fear or favour. Otherwise Singapore will remain a dream pipe.

@KeNHAKenya but why

Yes it is annoying and an eyesore too, such scenes are all over.. githurai, marikini inside the city, donholm etc in an organized country, markets are supposed to be far away from the main roads.

Kenha

That market must be relocated ASAP @KeNHAKenya

We need an overpass here !

The traffic is caused by the bumps at Waiyaki gardens apartments if you are going towards Kikuyu and the bumps at communication authority if you are going towards Nairobi.

@KeNHAKenya @ntsa_kenya why do you allow this. Kenya is truly a third world country. Institutions don't work and there is no order.

@ntsa_kenya , @KURAroads and @KeNHAKenya are the culprits.... they have allowed this to happen. If they were strict no one would have done this.

KENHA doesn't chest-thump here

@dnkariuki Even the govt doesn't understand that, sembuse traders....

@NPSOfficial_KE @ntsa_kenya @ray_omollo @kipmurkomen @DCI_Kenya @StateHouseKenya @KeNHAKenya

The issue here is bumps ziko mountain, wazitoe

The solution is the completion of the James Gichuru to Rironi road, specifically the section from Kianda School to Kabete Police. This is @KeNHAKenya job.

The matatu stages are posing a serious danger in that stretch. You come high speed & a matatu is turning to enter the road, accidents have been many, both pedestrian & motor vehicle. They should strictly close the area & redirect the matatus on the service lane up the overpass.

The problem is not the matatus and the traders. It’s failure of government. To think that the people in power use that road frequently and they are not bothered by the traffic chaos and the heaps of garbage in the center of the road, the stench from the rotting garbage

It is the failure of the governing authorities. @SakajaJohnson @ntsa_kenya @NPSOfficial_KE Ama are you saying Vendors and Matatus operators are above the law?

With politics heating up expect it to be worse

Ule jama wa Ivory Coast was right after all

They need to make a proper stage there

Which international road has that many bumps

that stretch needs beautification too...trash on roadsides
