The moment was captured on camera and quickly went viral, with many finding humor in Kanye's playful antics and the unexpected twist. Following the incident, Kanye clarified in interviews that his actions were meant to be lighthearted and humorous, and he expressed his respect for Beck as an artist. Beck also took the incident in stride, later stating in interviews that he was flattered by Kanye's gesture and had no hard feelings.
