Heavenly Father, Thank you for the blessing of this Thursday morning. It is a blessing & the gift of a chance to praise & glorify Your powerful name. Lord, thank You for the hedge of protection as we slept & rested. I pray for those who have not yet surrendered, so they can feel the love Your presence brings. Lord, today I pray for someone who is dealing with great chronic pain. Someone very near & dear to me who suffers daily in silence. If it is Your will, Lord Jesus, I pray You lay Your comforting hands on them & remove the unclean cells that are causing this daily pain & suffering. Heal their body & demonstrate Your divine touch. Lord, walk & guide us on our walk today, as we try to stay on the path You created for us before we even knew our own name. Lord, align our actions today with Your will. Help us stay obedient, as we eagerly seek Your face. Lord, forgive us for our sins & stumbles, & allow us to forgive those who have trespassed against us. It’s easy for us to be filled with guilt and shame when we continually battle with sin- but that is from the enemy! We have to remember we have been forgiven. We will always struggle with sin, and God knows that- His grace covers us! He is PROUD of us for going to war with our sin- not being friends with it. As we grow in our relationship with Christ, our shortcomings and our sin will become glaringly obvious- but that’s apart of the process. Repent, learn from your mistakes, and try again tomorrow. When we align our hearts and minds towards the will of God, we cannot lose.

🙏🏻✝️🕊️This kid is special and he’s got God, listen to what he says; A lot of people believe that being a "good person" is enough to get into heaven-but the truth is, that belief can be dangerous. The Bible makes it clear that our standard of "good" isn't the same as God's. Jesus said that only God is truly good, and Romans 3:23 reminds us that all have sinned and fall short of His glory. No matter how kind, generous, or moral we try to be, we can't reach perfection on our own. And heaven requires perfection-a standard none of us can meet by our own efforts. That's why we need Jesus. Jesus lived the perfect, sinless life we couldn't live, and He took our sin upon Himself so we could be forgiven and made right with God. Salvation isn't something we earn through good deeds-it's a gift of grace received through faith in Him. When we truly put our trust in Jesus, repent of our sin, and follow Him, our lives begin to change. Good works don't save us-but they become the evidence of a transformed heart. Don't rely on being "good enough." None of us are. Put your trust in the One who is. Choose Jesus, walk in repentance, and live in the grace that only He can give.

If a child was born in the US to a mother of a country who is an adversary to the US, that child is now a citizen. They want to erase our culture, our flag and sell of our borders to the rich. So often we say things like "my life," "my plans," "my career," "my future." We talk as though we are the owners of everything we have. But here's the truth: you don't own any of it. Every single thing you have is a gift from God Himself. The breath you just drew — that was God. The beat of your heart right now — that's God. Waking up this morning, having another day, another chance — all of it, a gift from the God who holds your very life in His hands. James 1:17 says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights." We didn't earn the sunrise. We didn't deserve a heartbeat. We can't manufacture another day. God gives it all — freely, generously, moment by moment. And yet how easy it is to take it for granted. To rush through our days as though life belongs to us, as though our plans are ours alone, as though we are the authors of our own story. Here is a story that illustrates that —

Friends, yesterday, I had the opportunity to offer a prayer at an Easter lunch hosted by the White House. What follows is the text of that invocaton: Heavenly Father, almighty and eternal God, provident Lord of history, we come before you today in an attitude of humble gratitude. We are thankful, Lord, for this opportunity to be together in fellowship, for the faith that unites us, and for the blessings of liberty that we enjoy as Americans. But we are grateful, above all, on this holiest week of the year, for the gift of your Son Jesus Christ, who is God from God, light from light, true God from true God; who is the Yes to all the promises made to Israel; who is the Lamb standing as though slain; who is the Alpha and the Omega; who is the Lion of Judah; who is the desire of the everlasting hills; and who is the Word made flesh. Father, you so loved the world that you sent your only Son that all who believe in him might not perish but might have eternal life. On Good Friday, you sent him indeed to the very limits of godforsakenness that he might gather back to you even those who had wandered furthest away. On the cross, he took upon himself the sins of the world—injustice, cruelty, hatred, violence, betrayal, and denial—that he might swallow them up in the ever-greater divine mercy. On Easter Sunday, Father, you raised him from death, showing your victory over all of the powers of darkness. Having met the risen Jesus, St. Paul could therefore say, “I am certain that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither height nor depth, nor any other creature could separate us from the love of God.” We bless you, Father, for you have given us the privilege of declaring the kingship of Christ to the world and calling all people to be subject to him. And so, Lord, conform us to Christ your Son. Clothe us, we pray, with his compassion, his meekness, his love for the poor. Father, we ask you to bless our country. Make us prosperous and safe, but above all, make us morally upright and order our freedom toward your truth. Bless our troops, especially those who are most directly in harm’s way. Make us prosperous and safe, but above all, make us morally upright and order our freedom toward your truth. Bless our troops, especially those who are most directly in harm’s way. Protect them and make them righteous warriors. And finally, Father, bless our President. Give him the grace, the courage, the wisdom, and the prudence he needs to perform his duties according to your will. We say, with gratitude, that we are a nation under God. We acknowledge that in you we live and move and have our being. We know that our freedom and rights come from you. Continue, Lord, to shed your grace on us and to hold us in the palm of your hand.
