Excluded evidence includes claims that Austin Metcalf spray painted racial slurs in sixth grade and that Karmelo Anthony told friends he was on the verge of a mental break before the incident. The jury convicted him. And he could be out on parole in less than 18 years, still a young man with his whole life ahead of him. Austin Metcalf doesn't get 18 more years. He doesn't get ANY.
