They entered apartment complex only to put the stickers. They did not interact with anyone. One person speaking on phone claimed to be from BBMP Tax named Murali. No Id card or order with the person with stickers. He could not read what was written in the sticker too.

"Every 10 years, we have a census in our country, in which every single person living in India is recorded and their details are taken down. In that, for the last 70 years, we have always asked the religion of the head of the household. We have always asked language. We have always asked caste category, SC, ST or others. The only and in the case of SC and ST, we also in the census record the exact caste that they belong to. The only thing we do not do so far is to record the caste for those who are not SC or ST. However, saying that I will not participate in a survey is not right. You could have refused to answer a few questions at most... The survey is only to understand the socio-economic and educational conditions of the people of Karnataka. If you are getting three meals a day, it is definitely not for you.
