This woman left her car plugged into the charger over 10 hours too long. Her apartment complex charges $10 an hour if anybody leaves their cars plugged in once charged. I think there needs to be rules in place so others can enjoy the benefits of having a charger on site. I also feel there needs to be respect as well. When I briefly had an EV, what was nice about the app was that once my car was charged, it notified me that it was charged. That way I was able to go and move it out of the way so I wouldn’t be charged fees. While I think it’s fair to be charged a fee, I think what would be a great compromise for these apartment complexes is that they all have to have an app accessible for anybody who uses it. That way notifications can be used an a warning. After an allocated time if the car wasn’t moved, then they can start charging people an idling fee. That’s just my opinion, I believe in rules but I think there should be a little understanding as well since life happens quick for people.

The EV future will be written by the country that engineers the infrastructure, not the one that tweets about it.

Model 3/Y Achilles’ Heel – The Maintenance Nobody Expects Over the past multiple months, we’ve been analysing one of the most overlooked causes of Model 3/Y battery overheating, compressor failures, and HVAC-related powertrain issues. Most people assume the problem starts with the compressor, software, or the heat pump itself. It doesn’t. We’ve also seen many third-party workshops incorrectly servicing heat pump systems. Instead of properly evacuating the refrigerant and compressor oil by opening the Octovalve, they recover only part of the system and then add around 1,000 g of new refrigerant on top of the 500 g still trapped inside - and statement were “ah it was only missing gas issue”. The result is an overcharged system that can destroy HVAC components. What many don’t realise is that HVAC is one of the most critical systems in an EV. Just 30 seconds of insufficient cooling can overheat components such as the OBC (for example Kia ICCU), damage an Audi e-tron drive unit and inverter, or, in the worst case, overheat the battery pack. A single severe overheating event can permanently and irreversibly damage battery cells. What surprised us most was that, on the Model 3/Y, the root cause often isn’t a faulty HVAC component or software. It’s the radiator design. The front heat exchangers compartement act like a road vacuum cleaner, trapping dirt so deeply inside the honeycomb that airflow is dramatically reduced. Cooling performance gradually degrades until it starts triggering failures across the entire powertrain. Owners often keep replacing the consequences while never finding the real cause. This is something what reduce the range-soh and increases Wh/km and mostly known situation “hey i drove my tesla from 100% to 0% and it has only 60kWh, not 74kWh” Recommendation on HVAC servises is to contact NRF (Nederlandse Radiateuren Fabriek) experts and take the full training session how to properly service it. (we will too) Our recommendation for every Tesla Model 3/Y owner: * Visit highly skilled worksop to Clean the radiator pack using a dedicated chemical cleaner to dissolve embedded dirt. * Flush thoroughly with low-pressure water (such as at a self-service car wash). * This is not a simple DIY job. Proper access requires partial disassembly and typically takes 2–4 working hours. * Every 80000-120000km Protect your battery. Protect your HVAC. II First Drive : Kia Syros EV II ✅ Had a chance to spend time with the Kia Syros EV & have covered aspects of the exterior, interior and more in the earlier posts. HTX+ 51 kWh 🔋 🏷️ A short test drive taken — key pointers: 👇 👉 Seating / Visibility / Steering ➡️ You sit quite upright, visibility is commanding and the overall view is quite good. The quarter glass adds further to the visibility. ➡️ Steering is adjustable only rake, not reach. The seats 💺 are electrically adjustable for the forward-back position and get a solid feel. ➡️ Drive selector is on the steering column thus takes time to get used to ➡️ Koreans are making some of the best steering — giving solid connect with car ,gets drive modes, as well as paddle shifters, while the switches get good tactile feedback. ORVMS view is good 👍 👉 Drive / Suspension ➡️ Took it on a bad road patch to check the suspension response — it was fine and quite stable. Didn’t get much suspension thuds inside the cabin & we weren’t essentially at high speeds ➡️ Driving overall the Syros EV is better vs the ICE Syros. The battery pack weight adds to stability at high speeds. ➡️ Of course, there is quite a bit of body roll evident coz of tall boy Design ➡️ NVH is fine up to 80–90 km/h; above that, some air noise is noticeable from pillars 👉 Drive Modes / Brakes ➡️ Syros EV gets 3 drive modes — Eco, Normal & Sport. ➡️ They work as desired. Even in Eco mode, power isn’t deficient car is eager to go,instant torque in evs helps the cause ➡️ Steering weights up in Sport mode and the car gives quite a pull in this mode thrill ride ➡️ Braking is quite adequate — it’s sorted here as well. 👍 gets all disc brakes 👉 Regenerative Braking ➡️ Syros EV gets 5(five) regenerative levels, with the top one being the i-Pedal mode. ➡️ This is where the car comes to a complete halt (I-pedal) ➡️ It is offered from the base variant as well. ➡️ Rest other levels are 1, 2, 3 & 0. 👉 Infotainment / Features ➡️ The 30-inch display setup works fine, with plenty of details on display,settings ,it’s flow is good no lags whatsoever ➡️ Music quality with Harman Kardon is good, if not great. ➡️ Infotainment system is quite sleek and works flawlessly. ➡️ The view and flow of the system are quite good. 👉 Interior / Space :: ➡️ The interior is where the Syros EV shines. ➡️ It gets ample space and the sense of space is even enhanced by the panoramic sunroof. ➡️ The rear space & interiors are best among under-4-metre cars. ➡️ The quality, fit & finish is simply segment-leading. 👌 ➡️ Reverse camera quality is quite impressive as well ➡️ Loved the car key as well 👉 Overall :: ➡️ Kia Syros EV seems to be a compelling package, especially the 42 kWh variant ➡️ It will outsell Ice Syros version for sure ,Kia india needs to be complemented for Syros ev as a whole ➡️ 42 kWh The base-to-base-up variants are our recommendations, but the 51 kWh goes expensive for our liking and doesn’t look as compelling at that price. ➕ +ves ➡️ Rear space ➡️ Fit, finish & quality impressive for the segment ➡️ Single-pedal driving ➡️ Korean software ➡️ LTW ➡️ Features packed ➡️ 300–320 km real-world range (42 kWh) & 370-400 (51 kWh) ➡️ Charging speeds > ➖ -ves ➡️ Polarising design ➡️ 51 kWh variants are expensive ➡️ Poor variant distribution ➡️ Okish NVH at high speeds ➡️Hyundai rival arriving soon ➡️ Head and tail lamps close to edges prone to damage Kia India Kia Worldwide Kia Motors India Suhail Gulati - ElecTree Ferrari Rules Vahan Warta (वाहन वार्ता ) Torque India Asheesh Arora AP Sagar EV Geeks of India Rakesh Kumar Tesla Club India®

But what always makes me a little sad when it comes to ATINY is that sometimes they look at us with that mindset in mind, and I feel sorry for them. ATEEZ started from a place of hardship, but now, no matter where we/you go, that kind of thinking doesn’t exist anymore. For me personally, it’s not just the change in our situation itself that makes me happy, but the fact that ATINY can now confidently say ‘I’m ATINY!’ or ‘I’m an ATEEZ fan!’ with pride. I remember the time when we didn’t have so many cameras. Getting used to having an eye that you don’t hear that you sometimes forget about, always on you, is frightening. 🇨🇳 Chinese EVs have been taking the world by storm, whether you like it or not When I look around here on the street in China I try recognize the car brands and I see so many brands I don't know One brand I see a lot is LI, but also BYD, Zeekr and XPeng Apparently there's now 129 (!) EV brands in China producing cars, which kinda shows the massive scale of the EV boom here There's a real historical parallel here with the US a hundred years ago, where there were about 2,000 new American car companies in America. Of course most failed, and only a few remained The same is predicted for China, where only 15 EV brands are predicted to survive in a decade, so a real battle is going down here now to see who will win One interesting thing is that there is one American brand that is remarkably present here, and that's Tesla, you see Teslas everywhere, the Tesla Y often holds the top spot for most cars sold in China, and you see Tesla superchargers here a lot What's also interesting is that where Elon Musk gets so much hatred in the West (not from me), in China he's revered as a hero. Elon is a high IQ engineer and successful entrepreneur. And it's a real artefact of the culture that Chinese respect that kind of person while in the West if you're rich, successful and smart you're seen as a bad person by at least half of society. I think that says a lot about our society and how we educate people in the West and we should really reconsider that. Engineering and entrepreneurship are the key stones of a functioning society. Engineering invents new things and entrepreneurs turn those inventions into businesses that bring them to people. Without both, you don't have jobs, money, and well, prosperity! Chinese culture seems to understand this well, which is why they like Elon Musk and still drive Teslas as one of the few Western cars here. Anyway to continue, in this video I visited the Huawei store and I have to add a correction, because due to new Chinese regulation that requires car brands to fully own their manufacturing, Huawei has "officially" separated their car business, but in fact they still fully design the car, sell the car, and get most of the profit from it. They just can't call it a Huawei car anymore Huawei is interesting because they produce everything, phones, tablets, watches, laptops, and, well indirectly, EV cars too A similar brand is Xiaomi, who actually do own the manufacturing of their EV, and their EV is one of the fastest growing in sales in China It's a real slap in the face for the West I feel that Apple, the creator of the iPhone, wasn't able to produce a car and cancelled their car project, when many of the Chinese phone companies are producing their own cars now with relative ease Of course the iPhone is produced in China, and manufacturing is in China, so being closer to the manufacturing physically, it must have been easier to design a car, than try to do it remotely from Apple's office in Cupertino But it does seem significant that we couldn't do this While I'm writing this the news comes in that Germany's car and greater manufacturing industry is tanking, their energy costs have gone up 2-3x due cutting off the Russian gas, and they've simply become too expensive overnight Germany's car industry, the historical center of car production in the world with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Volkswagen, has started laying off 100,000+ employees and scaling down their production due to declining sales, which are a direct result of the competition from China offering cheaper, more advanced EVs with better software than the Germans And I mean you can feel it, I walk around in EV car stores here and the cars look great, the interior looks modern, the software is miles ahead of the clunky interfaces of German cars, most EVs here have a little cute robot on the dashboard that you talk to, so you never have to touch the screen anymore to do anything, like "switch on the wipers" or "route me to my hotel" etc. The EVs here honestly do not feel cheap, they're well built and comfortable Europe has tried to stop the rise of the Chinese EVs in the European market with a 45% tariff, but even with that tariffs, many Europeans still prefer to buy Chinese EVs over others, and they're still cheaper than the German cars! The US went further with a 100% tarrif, and that stopped them from being sold mostly in the US because it's not profitable anymore for the Chinese One thing I have to add which you probably know is that the Chinese government does heavily subsidize their EV industry (with about $230B+ in the last decade), it's not a secret and their subsidies do not compare to the ones the US and EU provide for their industries, which gives Chinese EV companies the (unfair) advantage to produce them at a discount and sell them abroad cheaper, which is exactly why the EU and US put tariffs on them Even with the subsidies, the engineering and production and software is impressive and feels very modern, I'm a Tesla fan, own a 2025 Tesla Y, but the Chinese EVs feel and look more modern to me. They usually have more screens, more features etc. There's real innovation happening here it feels like And that's kinda the conclusion you get being in China with every industry, they've already by far departed from being cheap clones of Western products, they're now at the next stage of adding their own features and ideas, which is what we always criticize Chinese on "they're not creative", well they are creative, they just start from the point where Western products are now, and then start innovating from there (instead of starting from scratch fully, I mean, why would they?) If you ask Grok how does the future of the Western car industry look like, especially the European/German ones, it's pessimistic. The only positive it can find is that maybe European brands can focus on premium and exclusivity. Like they do with Hermes hand bags, but then do the same with cars. BMW and Mercedes-Benz are of course luxury brands and they could survive by remaining premium and make money that way. But the regular middle and low end of car production in Europe (and America?) will most probably be wiped out and replaced by the Chinese I think That is if the Americans and Europeans will keep allowing them into their markets But even if they don't, the Chinese are happily going to the rest of the world like South America, the Middle East or the rest of Asia where you see BYDs literally everywhere As a European this does feel bittersweet, but then again we've all been shouting from the roof tops for years that this would happen if you didn't create a pro-business climate where startups would sprout, so now it's kinda "I told you so"

The antisemitism that was festering under the surface for decades, has exploded. And for those of us who stand against it, we are not the popular kids. The so called “cool kids” are wearing a keffiyeh, calling for an intifada and demanding a Palestine between the river and the sea even if they can’t tell you which river or which sea. Keffiyeh Karens. That’s the mainstream now. Standing up against jihadism is now the counter-culture. Standing up for western democratic values against terror and extremism: that is now the counter-culture. Using facts and reason and knowing history: that is now the counter-culture. People! WE are the counterculture. And we are doing it. The Jewish people have found our voice because standing up for what we believe in, even when it’s not popular, is part of who we are. Our tiny people haven’t survived for millennia and outlived every empire that tried to destroy us by always being the cool kids. In fact, we almost never are. We know when it’s time to swim against the tide because we know this playbook. We have been here before. And our message to the world is as follows: the hatred that targets is targeting you too. I have a question for you, keffiyeh Karen from campus: where would you prefer to be a woman? in Iran? In Afghanistan? or in Israel? We cannot take the freedoms that we enjoy here in the US in Israel and in the west for granted, and right now even saying just that is swimming against the tide – it is being the counterculture. This is not a war of Israel’s choosing but we cannot avoid it either. They might call us the chosen people: in fact we are the people with no choice. But the entire western world needs to wake up to the fact that it has no choice either: that what is at stake is the survival, not just of the Jewish people, but of Western civilization, democracy and freedom itself. And where we do have a choice is in how we do it: and we choose to speak the truth, even when the truth isn’t popular. I hadn't listened to it since he delivered it in 2020, but I pulled MacArthur's sermon up again today that people are pointing to as evidence of a tremendous and destructive problem in his theology. What I had forgotten was that this was a sermon reflecting on the clarity the Lord had provided through the many battles and trials the church was enduring in that time–COVID, government oppression, weekly fines, ongoing legal battles, the theological fallout of wokeness and the social justice movement, pastors failing left and right, and the election of Joe Biden and the prospect of persecution likely to come from his administration's hostility toward the truth. MacArthur's comments on how we should not expect to win according to an earthly understanding still make perfect sense now as they did then, and they were a reminder of how committed he was to remaining steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord for the glory of God regardless of the trials we face down here. He understood that our hope was in Christ, not in our earthly circumstances: "John 15, just read a couple of verses here. Our Lord talks to the disciples, chapter 15, verse 19. Verse 19 – well, verse 18, let’s start there. “If the world hates you, you know that it has,” what? We don’t win here, you get this? They killed Him, they killed the apostles, and in every generation they kill the people who proclaim the truth. “You know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world,” – verse 19 – “the world would love its own; but because you’re not of the world,” – so if you want the world to love you, you’ve got to convince them that you’re not against them. But we are against them, not out of animosity, but out of love. “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you’re not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.” Chapter 16, verse 33, all the way at the end of that chapter our Lord says the end of the verse, “In the world you’ll have trouble. Take courage,” – what? – “I’ve overcome the world.” We don’t win the battle here, you can’t, can’t fight. Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world,” John 18. “If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would” – what? – “fight.” We’re not fighting this world, we get it. “Blessed are those who are persecuted.” No, we don’t win here. In fact, it gets worse, doesn’t it? Evil men get worse and worse. I mean, read the prophetic declarations of our Lord in the sermon on His second coming. Read the book of Revelation. It’s not going to get better, it’s going to get continually worse. And every generation of Christians is going to suffer for two reasons: because the world hates it, and because suffering perfects our faith and gives validity to our testimony. So we’re not going to win. You think we lost an election? No. No. We don’t win anything in this world. We’re not trying to gain this. Is there anything in this world we’re trying to gain? “For to me to live again is” – what? – “Christ.” And then I look at evangelicalism and I see this clarity that’s coming in the culture. I love the fact there’s going to be the true church and the people who hate the truth. There’s going to be the truth and lies. There’s going to be church and anti-church. There’s Christ and Antichrist. I love that clarity. These are the best of times. Incredibly wonderful to have that kind of clarity, where there’s no reason to be a compromiser, because the price is too high. Persecution always does that, right? Nobody goes to the gulag for something they’re faking. And then I just look at it from an evangelical side and I watch the sifting of evangelical leadership, people who used to be preachers that people wanted to listen to, nobody cares what they say. Used to be bloggers people wanted to read, and nobody cares what they write. They wrote books that you read; they can’t get off the shelf. So much compromise, horrible compromise; much of it because of the social justice issue. That is a disaster maybe more than any single disaster, but collectively with everything else, has done irreparable damage. Said it would, and it has, and it’s not nearly done. But the whole evangelical, seemingly elite, rolled over and bought into social justice, critical race theory, intersectionality, racial identity. And now we’re going to have the fruit of it. I’ll give you an illustration. America’s always functioned with equal justice. Get that? Equal justice. I mean, the modifier is clear, right? Equal. Equal for everybody. Everybody’s equal under the law, that’s equal justice. No, it’s gone. Now we have social justice. What social justice means is unequal justice. It means that it’s justice to basically determine by whether you’re a part of the oppressed group or the oppressors. What you’re seeing in America when the new President says, “In the future all the money from the government is going to go to homosexuals, LGBTQ, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera,” that is social justice. That’s not equal justice. When you hear the new Attorney General say, “In the future all charities are going to have to give their money to disenfranchised, oppressed minorities like homosexuals,” you’re realizing that you have just seen the death of equal justice. How could a Christian jump on that bandwagon? Something’s pretty clear. God does not hold somebody else responsible for what’s wrong with you, He holds you responsible. Social justice blames someone else for your defects and sin. How could Christians get anywhere near that? I did a whole series on Ezekiel 18, trying to make that clear. So we’re stepping into an era of injustice. We’re stepping into an era where there’s no need to cover sin. There’s no real need to be a hypocrite. Everything is in the open. Stepping into an era where hatred of the truth is going to go to a level we haven’t seen it. We’re stepping into an era where compromising leaders in the evangelical movement have basically nullified themselves, neutralized themselves, taking themselves off the battlefield out of the fight. That’s sad, but I still love the clarity. Do we have a hard future? Sure. We don’t win here, we just die. I mean, do you understand that? The Christian life is about two crucifixions. The Christian life is about two crucifixions. It’s about the crucifixion of Christ and it’s about the crucifixion of the believer. Do you understand that? You signed up, you signed up for death." And his closing comment: "The kingdom is here, the King is alive, and He’s ruling in His church." If that's loser theology, I'll take it.
