This part is the most personal to me. Thank you Freen for taking the time to listen to my story 🥹. I thought about whether to tell her as it’s still a sensitive topic for me, but I’m glad I did. I asked Freen to draw me a pawprint to represent my pets and as a future tattoo. There was a bit of confusion as to what I wanted (hence previous video where I accidentally filmed the translator 😅). I was also nervous so my English wasn’t very good either in that moment and idk I didn’t think to just point at her tattoo. Thank you Freen for taking the drawing so seriously, I was so surprised. I told her she could just draw any pawprint, but she actually reached over to zoom in on my dogs photo and bless her because as you can see you can’t see her paw pad at all 😅, but she took the time and effort to really draw it. I really should’ve found a better photo, but it was a bit of a last minute decision to ask her to draw and I was already tearing up looking through photos of my dog. This moment will forever be precious to me and just showed me how kind and generous she is. Even writing this post I’m in tears. I can’t ever imagine not loving her. I asked Namtan if I could take a Polaroid, and she said yes. After we took it, she noticed my camera didn’t have the flash on and looked really surprised. (Janet) I was a bit cheeky yesterday. Auntie Rachel forgot she had put a tub of Dreamies on the path and I just couldn't resist them! She let me eat some but then she took the tub away. Why does my cat stalk towards me as though I am prey? I only caught the tail end of this occurrence in the video, but about once a week I notice my cat (5 months) stalking towards me like this (she typically starts from much farther away and goes even slower). The weirdest part to me is that she only really does it towards me, not my husband. I’ve also seen her stalk prey before and she doesn’t usually continuously move in slow motion like this, she typically walks forward, pauses and assesses for a while, and then goes for the kill. Usually when she does this to me, she ends up snapping out of it due to movement or sound elsewhere, so she’s never pounced or anything - at most she jumps up next to me and then goes back to normal. I’m a new cat owner so this may be typical behavior, but it is so bizarre to me that this behavior seems reserved for me alone - not my husband, not our dog who she loves wrestling with (thanks reddit for clearing that up), and not the bugs she preys on. I was laughing in this video because she was cracking me up, but sometimes it genuinely freaks me out a bit, I feel like prey and I don’t like it 😶 I would love to hear any thoughts on the matter, if nothing else just enjoy this clip of my cat being an apex predator lol

Thirteen years ago, I was a brand-new ER nurse when a family was brought in after a wreck. The parents were gone before we could save them.
