There’s all sorts of ways Parliament, who are sovereign remember, could stop this. There is also precedent for disallowing such a circus where the MP is accused of breaking Parliament rules. But they’d need to balance that with the damage Farage will cause himself by arguing with a bin for a month. It would be tempting to just let him get on with it.
