Here are the potential rainfall accumulations El Salvador and Guatemala could receive as Tropical Storm Cristina moves in for landfall. Over the next 3 days, isolated totals of up to 300 mm (~12 in) will be possible in mountainous locations, while the city of San Salvador could see as much as 200 mm. Areas of steep, rainforested terrain will pose the greatest hazard for life-threatening flash floods and mudslides to occur.
