There is a fence there to keep people away from the cage. If people are so utterly bleeping stupid as to jump the fence deliberately so they can get closer, they deserve whatever fate befalls them. Evolution in action.

This is shocking. Even more worrisome was seeing the man struggling to free the child from the lioness’s clutches while no one helped. The public watched as if it were part of the performance. It was sheer stupidity to bring a child this close. These are wild animals with raw power, driven by instinct. They won’t consider that the child has school tomorrow, so a bite would be inconvenient. I’ve always believed wild animals are exactly that-wild, and we must respect those boundaries. This was a close shave. Notice how the lion joined in later, prancing uneasily, eager for a go?

Which zoo allows visitors to get close to the lion cage? Or did they go in on their own?

First of all why are people walking that close to the cage, are they thick as fuck. And secondly why are the lions in a cage. They should be in the wild were they belong.

I was a zookeeper 1st day on the job, I was 'advised' "Stay , at least 15 ft away " from the cages Why? .. They'll turn their backside to you & PEE on you 15 ft .. just 'out-of-range' .. Fun part!? They'd draw zoo-goers in, by acting all cute, 'till they were 'Just close enough'! THIS close, though, they win the lottery!
