Keeping our border safe and secure and equipping those defending it with the necessary tools and training to be successful is a priority. Monarch Hall at the Advanced Training Center will help expand the capabilities of our CBP, making our nation a safer place to live.

Monarch Hall’s opening is a step forward, but let’s not pretend D.C. suddenly cares about border security. The Advanced Training Center’s $3M Welcome Center and $7M Dining Facility (per McPherson Design Group) highlight classic bureaucratic bloat—prioritizing flashy infrastructure over frontline solutions. CBP’s new app for self-deportation proves efficiency doesn’t require endless construction. Real security means enforcing laws, not expanding taxpayer-funded complexes. Train agents? Absolutely. But stop conflating spending with success—every dollar wasted on overbuilt facilities is a dollar not securing the border.
