The woman was supposed to get married at 2;30 pm, but was running late. "The ceremony was supposed to start 2;30 in Stuart, however, these two were still in Port St. Lucie now getting stopped by one of our unmarked units," the Port St. Lucie Police Department said in a statement. The officer allowed her to keep going so she didn't miss her big day, but gave the driver a mandatory court date. "This stop gives a whole new meaning to racing to the altar," the police department said.
