It’s been a good day, hasn’t it? There are very few things better in life than seeing the government getting a good kicking in the local election. Keir Starmer has decided to stay on as Prime Minister. Partly because he’s completely insane and so out of touch with the electorate that he may as well be on another planet and partly because whoever is in charge (and that certainly isn’t Keir Starmer) has looked around at the other Labour MPs and despaired at the quite incredible incompetence even compared to Keir. So, Britain shall plod on along the road to destruction under this government for another few years, but at least there is now hope that not all of the electorate are as insane as I had feared and if there is anything left of Britain when Labour has finished, we can hopefully emerge from the Dark Ages into sunlit pastures. Until then, here are some ducks right now swimming by my boat as I look out across the canal at a most pleasant view. Nighty night people and well done. Sweet dreams.
