Respectfully the comparison is unequal. When journalists interview serial killers, it’s on assignment from the news network that they are hired by. Completely different from having your own platform and choosing to interview someone yourself

The difference between a serial killer and a celebrity is that the serial killer has more than likely been caught and the interview is behind bars so they are suffering the consequences of their actions. Much different than someone trying to get their career back
