Were you aware that Kemi Badenoch is carrying out what is being described as a “purge” within the Conservative Party. The wet, overly liberal, left leaning LibDem style conservatives are being weeded out or at least told that unless they change their ways and their views they cannot stand at the next election. Scrapping Net Zero and leaving the ECHR are two of the non negotiable hurdles ALL candidates must fully sign up to. She seems to have recognised the direction of travel in Uk and European politics and has signed up for it. She is seeking to steal some of Reform and Restore’s thunder and people like Nick Timothy and Katie Lam are dragging her in that direction. The question is….do you believe her, and would you be more likely to vote for them because of it?

Green Party leader Zack Polanski has said he'll stand in the by-election triggered when former Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer announced he would be stepping down as MP for the seat of Holborn and St Pancras in north London. Labour has said that it will close nominations for its potential candidates by noon on Friday. At the last election Sir Keir had a majority of over 11,500.

This is a young promising talent that is being aborted by the predatory nature of South Africa's party politics. But such talent can not be destroyed. It's like a seed, when buried, it sprouts and grows. They must ask from us in the ANC, a zero-sum game does not work in modern politics. You must be accommodative to people with different views and permutations to keep the internal cohesion of the party.
