Wallahi, I met a genuinely honest man today around Kabuga Junction, Kano. He was hawking these toy cars when I stopped to buy one. He told me it was ₦2,500, but I negotiated it down to ₦2,000, and he agreed. By mistake, I gave him ₦3,000 instead of ₦2,000. I didn’t even realize it at the time. My wife noticed after we had already moved on, and I told her to leave it. But the man himself later realized that I had overpaid him, and he actually rushed back to meet us just to tell me. I told him, “No problem, keep it. It’s yours.” But honestly, the fact that he came back even when he could have easily kept the money really touched me. It may be just ₦1,000, but honesty like this deserves to be appreciated. If you see him hawking these toys around Kabuga Junction, along the road towards Rijiyar Zaki/Kofar Fompo, please support him. Back in January 2025 when I moved into my new home, I found Biscuit. He was being chased by dogs, and I took him in. Biscuit and I instantly bonded. He rode with me in my truck. He would chill on my shoulders when I walked around the house. He slept with me. He was truly my friend. When I posted about Biscuit when I found him, everybody loved him. He's was truly a unique cat. I didn't post about what happened to him, because it took me a long time to process. One day, earlier this year, Biscuit got out and was hit by a car. We never found out who did it. I was the one who found him. All I could do was bury him and mourn him. I've been around a lot of animals in my life. I love them, and I'll protect them at all costs. Sorry if I did not answer many of you. I’ve never been a fan of the online eulogy. The immediate fallout is always about loved ones. And we should leave those closest be. And then I realised of course I was just incredibly upset, and a large digital outpouring is inevitable and testament to his character. My devastation came from having to watch it all unfold. From spending years trying to help and actually getting him close to a point where he almost had a normal life again - then being powerless to stop him doing things he should not have. Powerless in every sense as it also meant it sometimes not being my place to say anything. In the end watching some of the evil shits around enable the worst of it was too much for me, I had to step back it was too painful to watch. I told my mate who was filling in for me looking after him “ah I just need some space from it all, I’ll be back with him after Christmas” and then suddenly there was no Christmas. And it turned out no one was to blame, and I immediately looked to blame myself most of all, fearing the worst. But it was a simple accident in the end. A bolt out of the blue. So if you are ever estranged or overwhelmed by friends and family and think it will all be OK one day - DON’T put it off. Reach out now. Grab that person and hold them tight. There may not be a tomorrow. You might not be around to see them off. There may not be the grand luxury of time available you thought there was. He died in the arms of his beloved son, and that is a measure of comfort, if a passing can ever have any. He was my mentor, my friend and my glad burden. And there was nothing I would not do for him.

Beware of Collins: How a "Friend" Scammed Me and 9 Others I am writing this to warn everyone in the Web3, Monad, Solana, and Nigerianad communities. There is a person among us named Collins (known on X as Collins) who acts like a kind, active community member, but he is actually a professional scammer. He has stolen over $1,500 from me and has done the same to at least 9 other people. Collins used a very clever strategy to steal our money. He started by being very active in our local Nigerian Telegram groups. He called himself a "Solana Maxi" and always posted screenshots of big wins making people think he was making $5,000 or $7,000 from trading. We didn't know it was all a "format" just to get our attention. I did not trust him at first. However, we started organizing Lagos State meetups. When I met him in person, he was always smiling and happy. He acted like a brother. Seeing his face in real life made me lower my guard. If we had stayed just "online friends," I would never have sent him even $1, but because of those physical meetings, I thought he was real. His scam started when he told me about a "special developer" launching a token. He claimed he had an insider connection and that we could make 5x or 10x our money. He asked me to contribute $2,000. I told him I didn't have it. A few days later, he came back and begged me not to miss the "update." I decided to try with $1,000. To make me trust him completely, he played a long game. When I asked for a refund a week later because I had an emergency, he sent the $1,000 back immediately. This was his biggest trick. It made me believe he was 100% honest. Soon after, he showed me more fake wins on X and told me another project was going live on December 22nd. Because he returned my money the first time, I trusted him and sent the $1,000 back to him. When the date came, he claimed the "dev postponed the listing." While I was waiting for that money, he came with another "emergency" project, asking for another $1,000. I told him I only had $500 left my last card. He took that too. Then the excuses started. He claimed he went to the village to see his parents and that the network was bad. He said he couldn't access his Bybit account because he left his SIM card behind. He even begged me for another $100 in SOL just to help him out while he was "stuck." Because I thought my friend was in trouble, I sent it, bringing the total to $1,600. Every time I asked for my money, he told me "don't worry" and promised to pay once he left the village. But two days ago, the truth came out. I checked X and found out he has been doing this to everyone. He uses his friendly face and community status to prey on people. so jihoon didnt know jaehyuk kicked him. he jus thought something dropped on him 😭 🐶 I only found out from watching the video that Jaehyuk kicked me when he woke up. at the time, I did feel like I got hit by something, but I never thought it was Jaehyuk. I thought something just fell, like maybe a light fixture or something 🐶 but turns out, he kicked me with his foot. I didn’t realize it at all. I was half asleep thinking “did something fall? did the light drop or something?” but it was actually him kicking me. Alex Collins was so special man. Amazing teammate and a guy everyone was down to kick it with. This man invited me and wifey out one time in Baltimore and I will never forget it. We show up to the spot and AC is no where to be found. We are looking around for him for 20 min and finally I feel a little nudge on my shoulder. I turnaround and AC is walking behind me, drops his shades to his nose and signals with his eyes to follow him. It was so funny and smooth, we forgot he was 20 min late. AC told us he had to be discreet because he couldn’t have everyone knowing he was there. The rest of the night, we found out why. Everywhere AC went that night everyone knew him. Everyone was excited to see him, laughing when he came around and showing him love. You see everyone loved this man and his energy was contagious. To end the night, he hit this dance with all the fans watching him on the dance floor. WHAT A NIGHT and WHAT A GUY AC WAS.
