🇯🇵 A couple of leftist podcasters imply that the original Japanese were "not white" and possibly black. A lot of issues here: 1. The indigenous Ainu people from Japan ranged from pale to medium complexion. They were not black. 2. Most Japanese today are mixed with these people or groups related to them. 3. The people who came from China (the Yayoi people) were not "white" either. They were East Asians. Some were light skinned while others weren't.

There are millions of South Africans that have been engaging in a culture and racial war. Unfortunately the West only get to see the highlights. The same man that is leading the chants about killing the white farmer also stated “we are Putin and Putin is us” so for my Conservatives and Democrats it appears we have a confusing narrative. Racist South Africans who are resisting Ukraine? It would be beneficial for the people of the world if we all stopped looking at every scenario based off one video and for Americans saying this is the Woke that America is heading to. If white people never went this far with black please when it was legal to do so please don’t expect black people to do the same. Rev Mike Keller’s history of slavery remix: Enslaved Black people (“The Blacks”) didn’t protest against injustice in Washington DC like Black people do today (I guess they couldn’t get the time off). “The Blacks” waited patiently for the “good people” on the plantation (those good ole racist rapists and slaveholders) to introduce them to white Jesus. “The Blacks” then “humbled themselves” (Black people needed to show humility, not the white people who enslaved them because they considered them inferior) and repented to white Jesus for their “wicked ways” (the enslaved Black people were “wicked” but white slaveholders were “good people”). Having forgiven enslaved Black people of their wickedness and answering the sincere prayers of the good white people, white Jesus abolished slavery. The moral of the sermon is that Black people don’t need to protest against the injustices of white supremacy, just wait patiently for good racist white Christians like Rev Keller to pray to white Jesus on their behalf and eventually everything will be alright. THE MYTH THAT AFRICANS ‘SOLD THEIR PEOPLE’ Europeans have attempted to distance themselves from - and avoid accountability for - their atrocities during the centuries-long slave trade by propelling narratives that it was Africans who sold them slaves. On this version, Africans share the blame for the horrors faced by Black people. During his opening remarks on African identity and the decolonisation of education in Africa and the Caribbean at the University of West Indies in Jamaica, at the PJ Patterson Institute for Africa Caribbean Advocacy, vice chancellor Hilary Beckles spoke about the importance of reclaiming our narratives. As Beckles puts it, when history is told from the gunman's perspective, you inevitably get a distorted picture. Beckles dispels the myth that Africans willingly sold their fellow Africans into slavery. While he notes that there were certainly corrupt individuals back then, just as there are now, they were a minority. In Nazi Germany, for example, there were Jewish people who collaborated with the regime, yet no one blames them for the Holocaust. So why is this the line of argument used when it comes to slavery? Most Africans who took part in the slave trade did so for survival and did not have much of a choice. When European narratives paint our ancestors as 'business partners,' it is misleading - a business partner is free to not partake in a business venture without consequences, whereas Africans were not. Moreover, Europeans exacerbated divisions amongst our people, spurring ethnic conflict and wars amongst Africans. It was often ‘prisoners of war’ who were bought by Europeans from Africans. The European narrative has been used to further divide Black people across the world, thus continuing the divide-and-conquer tactics that have ensured African disunity and exploitation for centuries.
