The Memphis Grizzlies have told interested teams they will not “salary dump” Ja Morant per Brett Siegel “The Heat are interested in Ja Morant but what price? It would involve the Rozier contract, Simone Fontecchio expiring contract but that’s not enough for Memphis. They want the draft assets and young players. So would Miami be willing to part with a guy like Nikola Jovic or Jaime Jaquez. Those are two guys I would keep an eye on in those trade talks between Miami and Memphis then obviously a protected 1st round pick… I think it’s worth noting Miami has serious interest there especially because they wouldn’t have to go all in for Morant. Maybe you do give up Jovic or Jaquez and you still have leverage to pursue Giannis with guys like Andrew Wiggins, Kel’el Ware and draft picks” (Via ClutchPoints)
