Show host Ryan Clark accused police of "doctoring" and "manipulating" statements to frame Lacy for the crash, live on ESPN. "Kyren Lacy was innocent ... he was an innocent man," Clark claimed. Footage released by the Louisiana State Police, however, shows Lacy speeding in the opposing traffic lane, passing multiple cars on the wrong side of the road just seconds before the crash. LSP, which released footage of the incident, says Lacy caused a woman to veer into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting him. Lacy was the "primary cause of the chain of events leading to the fatal crash," LSP said.
