Not only does it not “definitely” hit the hand. He also said it come from a throw in, let me see the throw in……. Btw it was a foul throw as the Celtic players foot was on the pitch when the ball was released. How can so much go wrong with 4 officials?

🚨IT’S ALWAYS THE PHILLIES🚨 This was the Ernie Clement ball for Toronto Blue Jays in the 10th, and folks are wondering how this is a hit. This ends up being a mental error in not making the proper play, and Bohm’s throw to first was on target, just late. He only looked at second, so it can’t be a fielder’s choice, and since he fielded the ball cleanly and was accurate to first, the only thing this can be is a hit. #BlueJays50 #RingTheBell

Do YOU think this was a clean tip on DBone’s first ever “no-looker” to teammate Darius Butler for the slam? For those that don’t know.. A “tip” is when you catch the ball and throw the ball during the same jump.. you’re not allowed to be in contact with the ground and the ball at the same time on the defensive side of YOUBall and MANY other driveway basketball games

This is NOT a foul. Thomas legally gets to the ball and knocks the ball loose prior to any contact. The leg to leg contact is incidental once the ball is clearly loose. This was correctly judged in real time as a no call as were the subsequent technical fouls.

A hallmark of Lee Trevino’s swing was right arm extension. I studied this move with Tim Brantley, and it completely changed the way I think about the release. Here I’m working on allowing my right hand to thrust the handle forward and around through impact rather than trying to “hit” at the ball. It’s a great feel to try because it encourages the club to release naturally while maintaining lag and compression. Trevino understood that power comes from extending through the shot, not quitting on it. Give this feeling a try on the range and see what it does for your ball striking. 👍🏻

Have never seen this before! With every second at a premium for the trailing #Bears, check out #Vikings returner Ty Chandler look toward his sideline - AFTER he caught the football - and find HC Kevin O’Connell signaling for him not to take a knee, but rather to take the ball out and advance the clock past the 2 minute warning. Great coaching by KOC and one helluva job by Chandler in a very high pressure situation.

A lot of hitters confuse being late with letting the ball get deep. They’re not the same thing. In this video I show it with a simple example. I toss the ball and reach way out in front of me to catch it. That’s what late looks like. The ball already beat you… now you’re chasing it with your hands. Then I toss another one and catch it slightly behind me. That’s being on time and letting the ball get deep. When you’re late, your body and barrel are reacting after the ball passes your window. You’re forced to reach, cut across it, or roll it over. When you’re on time, you can let the ball travel and still control it. Now the barrel can stay through the zone longer, and you can drive it with authority. Deep ≠ late. Good hitters aren’t reaching for the ball… they’re on time enough to let it come to them. ⚾️ Train with an expert. Not an influencer.

In 2012, Michael Morse hit a ball to the wall with the bases loaded and it was ruled a single Umpires reviewed the play and determined that the ball went over the fence and overturned the call to a home run … Morse and all of the baserunners needed to retag every base, and they made him take a swing in the batter’s box without a bat for his grand slam to count 😮
