For Arsenal, this could be one of the reasons why going for Schade would be a great deal Offering him 40/50k per week would be a massive upgrade for him, and a massive downgrade from Martinelli’s 180k for Arsenal

Once I see you using numbers to rate players, I'll stop taking you serious Is it not the same nelli that scored just 1 league goal all season?? Any LW is a fucking upgrade to martinelli right now

Dlanor_Jay's profile picture
Dlanor_Jay24 days ago

Firstly, your last statement is very wrong, and shows that your ideology of wanting a new LW comes from a place of distaste for Martinelli Secondly, I wrote down facts and numbers, which highlights his good and bad aspects If you think numbers don't matter, you're in the wrong sport (because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's wrong) If numbers don't matter, will you gladly sign a player that misses 5 months of football due to injury each season, and say that numbers don't matter? Or sign a winger that hasn't scored a goal in two seasons? Numbers matter, and they always will

@JOS3PH458308 Numbers matter. Martinelli last 2 seasons 9 Prem. goals, Schade 19 Prem. goals.

Did you see Schade play last szn and the games recently? Hate them analytics who judge everything thru numbers. Its football. Just watch the f'ing game

Schade is better than Martinelli please 😂have you all not seen Martinelli for last two years?

You've not consistently watched Schade in the last two years, that's why you feel otherwise

Well I’ve seen Martinelli and I can tell Schade will be more effective than him

You know what he has? A good touch. And ability to keep the ball without losing it constantly. That alone is an upgrade. He may not score many goals. But he won’t put us at a disadvantage.

Respectfully there are two types of players. Head up and head down. Ill let u guess which one Martinelli is.

Last year he got 11 G/A in the PL and Martinelli for 6, year before he got 13 G/A and Martinelli got 12. So he's done it twice and yet you're counting Martinelli playing in more comps to try and prove a shit point 🤣

Dlanor_Jay's profile picture
Dlanor_Jay24 days ago

You’re the one looking for a shit point I just wrote down facts And clearly ended it stating he could end up being a better option Read to understand, not just to reply

El Hijo Del Dave's profile picture
El Hijo Del Dave24 days ago

Well you didn't "write facts" did you because Schade has more G/A in the past two seasons 🤣 you also said they were the same age when Martinelli is also older.

Jamoo of Arsenal's profile picture
Jamoo of Arsenal24 days ago

On paper he may not be. First there is reason Arsenal want to move on with Martinelli. Again Schade will come with lower wages for sure. Furthermore Arsenal might be thinking of Schade as a make shift till next summer for an Elite LW.

I've been saying it for so long, Gabi has been playing as a 1st choice for 5 years now and he hasn't shown much improvement in his attacking game over those years. So why not just give someone else a chance to prove?

Dlanor_Jay's profile picture
Dlanor_Jay24 days ago

Hence why I said it could be another Ramsdale/Raya situation Schade might be the deal

Tears in 2026 and we're still evaluating modern wingers by raw distance covered per 90. Take the Arsenal rose-tinted glasses off for five minutes and look at profile fit.

Well I get the point but we can’t judge with stats cos the team this guy plays in is not on same level with Arsenal.

Dlanor_Jay's profile picture

Exactly, stats just shows what is Schade playing with a better team that has more control most likely would improve his numbers

Prabandh Gosavi's profile picture

That guy has got those numbers in a team like brentford. Compared to martinelli, i still feel that it's a better signing but yes we expected a better signing than schade.

Dlanor_Jay's profile picture
Dlanor_Jay24 days ago

Yeah, a change of team to a more dominant team might increase his numbers Let's see if we sign him

A-DOM's profile picture
A-DOM25 days ago

Cause martinelli's growth has gone backwards whether you blame arteta, his system, his tactics or martinelli himself he has stagnated and gone backwards hes struggling to beat his man struggling to put in decent crosses looks lost with a low to mid block he needs a change and reset

Enigma Football's profile picture

Only issue is schade is fed by brentford midfield while nelli by Arsenal midfield

Dlanor_Jay's profile picture

Arsenal midfield has upgraded recently, so both players will do better with this Arsenal midfield

El rey's profile picture

you guys are not getting the point, Martinelli has zero wing play, he just had to go not because he's not a good player but because his a very bad "winger" he has zero impact of the wings for three years now and thats very bad

I won’t say far better though But Schade in a bigger team could pull up better numbers Also, he will be less comfortable than Martinelli which would push him to strive harder Everything is probability

I don’t think so my brother, he’s not that good. He’s not a player with insane mentality like that.

Isn’t he playing on the right side? He looks like just speed without dribbling and plays on right side where we have Saka. We needed dribbling not just running and they missed Barcola, Godts, Ndiaye, etc

Doesn't matter if he's better than Martinelli or not at this point. Sometimes It's just right to move on from a player and try someone else. It's time for a completely fresh start on the left.

This is exactly why I want him at Arsenal Kevin Schade to Arsenal will be a plus Highest clocked speed??? Distance covered for a winger as a measure of success? The main difference here should be the footballing brain

Martinelli only had one year left on his contract and probably wasn't willing to extend unless he was offered the same terms which his form didn't warrant.

el real's profile picture
el real24 days ago

You would be foolish if you thought keeping Martinelli was an option, cause we would have to give him at least 4 years contract and increase his salary for him to sign a new deal Even if it's a short term downgrade it would still suit Arsenal more

🇨🇳 CHINA'S MAGLEV HITS 700 KM/H IN 2 SECONDS - PLANNING 1,000 KM/H - WHILE AMERICA ARGUES ABOUT FIXING POTHOLES China just tested a maglev platform that accelerates to 700 km/h (435 mph) in 2 seconds. Target speed: 1,000 km/h (621 mph). That's faster than commercial aircraft. On the ground. The acceleration alone is borderline violent - 0 to 435 mph in two seconds is 9.8g. Fighter jet territory. Passengers would need specialized seating just to survive the launch. But let's address reality: This is a test platform. Prototype speeds don't mean operational trains. China announces ambitious projects constantly. Some materialize (their existing 430 km/h maglev in Shanghai works). Others disappear quietly. The pattern though? They're attempting scale nobody else is. High-speed rail connecting every major city. Maglev research pushed to extremes. Infrastructure spending that makes Western investment look microscopic. Meanwhile in America: Amtrak averages 105 km/h between cities. California's high-speed rail project started in 2008, burned $10+ billion, and hasn't moved a passenger. The fastest train in the U.S. hits 240 km/h for exactly one 54-mile stretch. China's going for 1,000 km/h. Even if they only achieve 800 km/h operationally, that's still triple America's maximum. Here's why this matters beyond trains: Infrastructure capacity signals industrial capability. If China can build and operate 1,000 km/h trains, they can manufacture the precision components, power systems, and control mechanisms that transfer to aerospace, military, and manufacturing. The U.S. won the 20th century partly because it built the Interstate Highway System when others couldn't. China's betting the 21st century winner will be whoever builds impossible infrastructure first. They might fail. Engineering challenges at 1,000 km/h are extreme - air resistance, track precision, emergency braking, passenger safety. But they're trying while America argues whether to fix the L train in New York. Even Chinese failure puts them ahead. You learn more from attempting the impossible than from successfully maintaining mediocrity. Source: Xinhua, CGTN

IU Indy’s Gus Etchison has the potential to be one of the best Mid Major players in college basketball heading into this season. Gus for Idaho State last season averaged 9/1/2 in only 13 MPG while shooting 45% from the field and 35% from three on 3 attempts a game. Etchison is one of the quickest guards in the country who’s great at getting to his spots on all 3 levels and scoring with efficiency. Etchison had one of the highest rim rates in the country and was also a high level finisher who shot 62% at the rim. Etchison is also a strong off the dribble creator who has the ability to create space at a high level, and is an elite tough shot maker who can shoot from anywhere on the court. Etchison is also a high level playmaker who has the ability to use his speed and scoring to create plays for his teammates at an elite level, while also having the vision to make strong reads in the PNR or in isolation. Gus had one of the highest assist rates in the country with a 40% AST rate. Etchison’s mix of playmaking, shooting, creation, speed, PNR play, shotmaking, finishing, and handle all helps him be an extremely versatile all around PG who can do a little bit of everything at a strong level. Etchison is one of 3 players since 2008 who had an AST% of 40, and shot 35% from three on 12 attempts a game per 100, joining Trae Young, and Denzel Valentine as the only other players. Etchison was highly productive in a system that didn’t fully fit his game, and is joining, an IU Indy team that fits his style and gives him the chance to be one of the most talented Mid Major players in college basketball next season.
