The so-called community of Khillet al-Dab’a is not a “destroyed city,” but a cluster of illegal structures built within Area C of Judea and Samaria — a region designated under the Oslo Accords as being under full Israeli civil and military control. In this area, all construction — whether Palestinian or Israeli — requires official permits. The demolished structures lacked such permits and were often funded by international actors with political, not humanitarian, motives. This is not about arbitrary destruction, but about the enforcement of law in territory under Israeli jurisdiction.
