This is dispossession. 🏚️ Kangondo & Kibiraro: 8 Years of State-Made Suffering In 2018, families from Kangondo & Kibiraro were pushed out, 🏗️ homes demolished, 📉 properties undervalued, 🚫 promised compensations never delivered, 🏢 and many forced into tiny Busanza units that don’t match what they lost. City-appointed valuers put absurd figures like $8k for 1,000m², then even THAT money vanished into thin air. Meanwhile… the same land they were removed from? 💰 Now tied to high value redevelopment worth $475,000 for 320m². So it was never about “urban planning.” It was about power. It was about who gets to live where. It was about who benefits, and who suffers. ⚖️ And Now? Kigali City RUNS From Court. THE NATURE OF THE CREATOR’S LEDGER This Ledger is not a document. It is a design architecture written into reality itself. It operates on: • Universal Law • Divine Logic • Immutable Principles • Perfect Intent • Exacting Precision Nothing in creation escapes it. Nothing overrules it. Nothing can counterfeit it. THE ECONOMY OF LOVE The Creator, in perfect love, gave humanity the most powerful and dignifying gift possible: Free will. True, total, sovereign, uncoerced choice. Because love that forces is not love. Authority that manipulates is not authority. Truth that demands compliance is not truth. God’s government functions only through freedom. THE TWO LEDGERS OF HUMAN CIVILIZATION Every human system is built upon one of two ledgers: 1. The Creator’s Ledger The operating system of the Kingdom. It produces: • Truth • Clarity • Abundance • Wisdom • Authority • Identity • Discernment • Peace • Purpose When aligned with this Ledger, life becomes coherent. Deception evaporates. ✨ A moment of pride, emotion, and deep significance for Rwanda. A lot has been said since last weekend in Berlin — but there is something I need to say too. Last weekend, my sisters, my comrades, my fellow freedom fighters — Carine Kanimba and Natacha Abingeneye — were elected to the WORLD LIBERTY CONGRESS Leadership Council, representing #Africa and #Rwanda on the global stage. And even more historic: Carine was also elected Secretary General of the Executive Council. They were chosen to carry the voice of all Rwandans, especially those who have no voice: ▫️those silenced, ▫️those imprisoned and tortured, ▫️those living as refugees in hardship and abandonment, ▫️those trapped in poverty and indignity under the weight of the FPR regime. ▫️... And let it be said clearly: these two women, through their integrity, courage, clarity of vision, and unwavering commitment, are — and will remain — leaders of the positive change Rwanda so desperately needs, today and tomorrow, without the slightest doubt. And for that reason, every Rwandan — wherever they are — should take a brief moment to rejoice. Because change is not a single moment; it is a process. The recognition they received from their fellow freedom fighters is one more step in the awareness and mobilization that will carry Rwanda toward the democratic future every Rwandan silently hopes for. To Carine, re-elected for the second consecutive term: your renewed mandate reflects the trust and admiration you inspire across continents. To Natacha, your election speaks to your authenticity, your strength, and your proven ability to transform conviction into meaningful impact. I am deeply honored to have been the first Rwandan ever to freely vote for both of them. And I sincerely hope that one day, all Rwandans will have that same privilege — to vote freely, in a free Rwanda, for leaders like them, standing in genuine democratic elections on our own soil. Finally, I want to congratulate the new Executive Council and extend my heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing leadership. Through this dignified and exemplary transfer of responsibility, they have embodied the values shared by the hundreds of freedom fighters within the WLC: integrity, solidarity, humility, and service to liberty. Queer history isn’t just about what we’ve lost—it’s about what we’ve built. Before Stonewall, before Pride, before mainstream activism, there were secret societies fighting for LGBTQ+ rights in a world that refused to see us. The Mattachine Society (1950) 🏛️ Founded in 1950 by Harry Hay, the Mattachine Society was one of the first gay rights organizations in the U.S. It operated in secrecy because being openly gay at the time meant arrest, job loss, or worse. Their name came from the mattachini, masked jesters from the Renaissance who used performance to critique authority—symbolizing the hidden but powerful voices of queer people. So, what did they accomplish? ⚖️ Fought police entrapment—When gay men were arrested in sting operations, Mattachine provided legal support and fought for their rights. 📢 Created one of the first LGBTQ+ publications—The Mattachine Review spread awareness and connected isolated queer individuals. ⚡ Pushed for visibility—They encouraged LGBTQ+ people to advocate for themselves in public and political spaces. 🚪 Laid the groundwork for later activism—Their fight directly influenced the Gay Liberation Front, Stonewall, and modern LGBTQ+ rights movements. Their logo—a masked figure—represented both secrecy and defiance. I’ve taken that symbol and transformed it into my pottery, making something tangible that honors their legacy. The Daughters of Bilitis (1955) Five years later, in 1955, Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin founded the Daughters of Bilitis (DOB)—the first lesbian civil rights organization in the U.S. Unlike Mattachine, which focused on legal battles, DOB centered around education, support, and fighting the erasure of lesbian identity.
