@BetsPunder If SA was communist country with such high corruption, things would get worse. This is because the government would control most resources and corrupt leaders could easily misuse money and power without being held accountable. Even though the system is meant to promote equality.

problem is the 'government' part. we have black politicians that are servants of white people. and corrupt politicians that servants of stupidity.

Sweden is not a communist state, communism as a concept is great, however, owning nothing and having all your existence depend on government is not ideal. Socialism on the other hand allows for many of the things communism espouses but provides for private property ownership…

For the most part all economies are mixed economies and as such the countries she mentioned just have a better social security system. SA can improve our systems too and as such achieve more. I don't think a fully communist society would work.

That's exactly the problem with communism...everyone isn't the same. People are born with different talents, personalities and withing a social setting of that unique geographical location. This approach of treating everyone as the same is the basic flaw of their entire ideology.
