[SBS News] 'World class' first pitch... "Let's sign a contract with V right now!" 👤World star BTS V threw the ceremonial first pitch at LA Dodger Stadium. He received applause for his powerful and accurate pitch amidst global attention. A huge crowd of fans gathered outside Dodger Stadium long before the opening time to see V throw the first pitch. V, wearing a uniform with the number 7 and the letter V, exchanged greetings via video call with Kim Hyesung, who is recovering from a shoulder injury. Kim Hye-sung: Hello! I'm a fan! V: I heard you couldn't come because of an injury... I'll throw well. Oh, I originally wanted to learn The Dodgers' superstars gathered to welcome 'world star' V. First, star player Ohtani greeted him warmly in the dugout, and Shohei Ohtani: It's Shohei. Nice to meet you. V:It's Taehyung. Nice to meet you. Starting pitcher Glasnow taught us his grip. Tyler Glasnow: A four-seam fastball? A two-seam fastball? V: Did I do a four-seam fastball? A two-seam fastball? A four-seam fastball! After greeting the players including the 'living legend' Kershaw, V went up to the mound to the enthusiastic cheers of the fans. He stepped on the pitching mound and surprised Japanese ace Yamamoto, who was on the mound as the starting pitcher, by throwing a fast and accurate ball high and outside the right-handed batter with his left hand. ‘That was a great changeup. Let's sign V right now!’ Taehyung then grabbed the microphone and shouted the game-opening cheer of the late Dodgers' resident caster Vin Scully, bringing the stadium's excitement to a peak. V: Dodger baseball begins now! With V cheering enthusiastically from the stands, the Dodgers defeated Cincinnati and regained sole possession of first place in the National League West. 🔗 ACE V ON THE MOUND PITCHER V AT DODGER STADIUM TAEHYUNG TAEHYUNG #VCeremonialFirstPitch #TaehyungxMLB

Dodgers Nation and Noel Sánchez gave a great introduction to Taehyung and his upcoming first pitch at the Dodgers game on the 25th Aug! 👤This Kpop star known as V from BTS caused Dodgers tickets to jump five times in a single night after it was announced he would be throwing out the first pitch and it looks like he may already have a background in baseball. So the Dodgers announced a few days ago that V is set to take on the ceremonial first pitch honors on August 25th when they play the Cincinnati Reds. The Instagram post hits at over 400,000 likes and BTS fans took to social media quick to react and then went immediately to the ticket sites. According to StubHub, Dodgers ticket sales increased by five times after news of V's appearance was revealed and the team also became the number one searched MLB team online this week. V has won multiple major awards for both his singing and his acting and he's charted on the Hot 100 list multiple times. And I have a feeling that V is going to be just fine when he steps on that Dodgers stadium mound for the first pitch because he's proven that he can actually play baseball. Footage has re-emerged of him and his BTS co-stars playing together in their In The Soop show along with having taken part in other sports and games. V also gained a passion for weightlifting after completing his military service. I just think the Dodgers continue to do an amazing job of bringing so many different communities together with special moments and events like these. There's going to be so many fans packing the stands eager to see V rocking a Dodgers jersey on the mound and just fans tuning in from all over the world. 🚨 Rebel News LIVE! is back this fall in THREE cities! Rebel News LIVE! is coming to Calgary on Oct. 31, Vancouver on Nov. 14 and Toronto on Nov. 21. Get your early bird tickets now before it's too late! I've got a big announcement. Rebel News Live is back this fall, and we're coming to three cities: Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto. Rebel News Live will be in Calgary on Saturday, October 31 at the Carriage House Hotel and Conference Centre. Then, we're heading to Vancouver on Saturday, November 14. And then it's on to Toronto, where we'll be at the Canada Christian College in Whitby on November 21. Three cities, three incredible days, and I want to see you there. Now, if you've never been to one of our live events before, let me tell you what it's like, because I genuinely believe there's nothing else like it in Canada. We've been doing these gatherings for years, and every single time without fail, the thing people tell me afterwards, the thing they remember most isn't any particular speech, as good as the speeches are. It's the feeling in the room. It's walking in and realizing you are surrounded by hundreds of Canadians who think the way you think, who care about the things you care about, who've been watching the same stories you've been watching and asking the same questions you've been asking. People who have felt, frankly, a little bit alone in their communities and who suddenly realized they are not alone at all. That is what Rebel News Live is. It's a convention. It's a family reunion of sorts. It's a day where you get to be yourself completely without apology, and once you've experienced it, you keep coming back. Our attendees know what I mean. We have regulars. Now, who's going to be there this fall? I'll be there. Sheila Gunn Reed will be there. Tamara Lich will be there, and the Rebel News team will be joining us. Over the coming weeks, we'll be announcing some additional very special guest speakers, and trust me, you're going to want to hear who's coming. Stay tuned. Here's what the day looks like. Doors open at 8 a.m. in the morning with a light breakfast, then a full slate of speeches and panel discussions, the kind of conversations you would never see on the CBC. After that, it's a catered lunch, more speakers in the afternoon, and for VIP ticket holders, an exclusive dinner with me, Sheila, Tamara, and our guests at the end of the night. And in between all that, we've got a full merchandise store on site. There will be Rebel News toques and hoodies and mugs and books, and yes, I will be there to sign them. We'll have other sponsors and exhibitor booths from some of the best freedom-oriented businesses and organizations in the country, people you want to know about causes worth supporting and groups doing the real work on the issues that matter. It's worth showing up early to spend some time at those booths before the speeches begin. It's the best gathering of freedom-minded Canadians anywhere in the country. I've been saying that for years and I keep saying it because it keeps being true. Now, I need to be straight with you about one thing, these events sell out every single year without exception. If you wait too long, you will not get in. I've seen it happen — I don't want it to happen to you. So, here's what I need you to do right now. Go to and get your tickets at the early bird price, because that price will not be around forever. Calgary on October 31, Vancouver on November 14, Toronto on November 21. Pick your city, pick your date, and get your seats locked in before they're gone. There's nothing quite like spending a full day in a room full of Canadians who actually get it. People who've been watching, who've been following along, who are in this fight with us. I'll see you there.

I know many people have seen this video but I’d like to break it down a bit. I found this interesting for the timeline I’ve been putting together. Many of you have seen it. I’ll publish it again soon updated. Mark met Candace before she was anyone at TPUsa? Back in early 2017 at a TPUsa event? This is when she started doing her YouTube videos that took off. Was she stalking conservative events and high profile people to get into the circle? Did she stalk Charlie for months at events? Interesting. I remember her talking once about running around a TPUsa event handing out her cards to people so they’d know who she was. And then when Mark met her he offered to help her financially by giving her 1k a month for her bills. By just meeting her at an event? Because he was impressed with her. And thought she had potential. And she wasn’t a TpUSA employee? She’s good at manipulating for sure then. Then Charlie hires her at TPUsa in November about 6 months later then when Mark met her. That seems to be when she sent Mark the vile text saying she didn’t want to ever talk to him again with no explanation. I think it’s because she didn’t need him anymore. She succeeded in getting Charlie to hire her. It lines up. Then he says Charlie and him are hunting while the Kanye blowup is going on. So it’s really early in the Candace saga when Charlie says he needs to apologize for something. That people don’t change meaning Candace. That was Oct 2018. He says on that trip it was obvious Candace and Charlie had issues. Remember Candace was fired in May of 2019 from TPUsa. So Candace was being vicious from the beginning? I bet she was the one blowing up his phone in this clip. I wonder how long after Charlie hired Candace he regretted it. I bet immediately but he had her sign a contract the day he met her so he was locked in. My question is all this is was she stalking TPUsa events to get hired before Dave Rubin introduced Charle and Candace? Dave met her in early 2017 too. Mark says he tried to warn PragerU and DW about her. And that PragerU ended ugly. Why would these companies hire her after they saw what she had done at TPUsa. That will always confuse me. No matter how popular someone is if your friends are telling you she’s psychotic why would you invite that in? Just thinking out loud. So she’s made enemies with Dave, Mark, Dennis, Jeremy, Andrew, Blake, Mikey and everyone that she’s come into contact with. They all say she’s psycho. But she’s not the problem? Anyone see a pattern? Common denominator?

Girls do not want to have to text you for 2 weeks before going out with you. You do not have to “win her over” or “warm her up” over text before getting the meet, either. I am seeing more and more guys do this (especially Gen Z guys). I have a 28-year-old client who met a very cute girl who liked him a lot at a bar. They had an amazing conversation that went for an hour. Talked about all kinds of things! This girl really dug him. They traded numbers, he sent an icebreaker text, she responded enthusiastically, and then… He didn’t message her for two weeks. I asked him why and his response was that he’d been busy and he wasn’t in her area (he’s in the suburbs and met her when he drove into the city). It wasn’t that he didn’t like this girl. He REALLY liked her! He just… never followed up… I see this kind of thing often. Guy meets a few girls, gets their numbers, likes them, doesn’t follow up. Or he follows up once or twice, the girl responds fine each time, then he just lets it drop off. Look: you do not need to send her 20 text messages to get a date with her. With most girls, if they are into you, you can send them 2 or 3 texts then arrange the meet. You do not need to make this complicated. When you get their number, you send an icebreaker: “Great to make a new friend! — [YOUR NAME]” or “Hey [HER NAME], it’s [YOUR NAME]! Save my number!” You put YOUR NAME in that icebreaker text in case she forgot it (people are bad with names and it’s too awkward for most girls to be like “Hey, sorry… what was your name again?” Just write it in your text and she doesn’t have to do that). Then, THE NEXT DAY or at most 2 days later, you send your ask-out text. Have the four parts in there: 1️⃣ Greeting with her name 2️⃣ Consideration for her 3️⃣ Information about you 4️⃣ Check her schedule e.g. “Hey Isabelle! [1️⃣] Hope the dental appointment went well and you still have all your teeth. [2️⃣] I actually spent all day at the beach on Sunday and turned a bright shade of red (whoops). [3️⃣] Anyway, let me know your schedule this week for that bite or drink. [4️⃣]” You have enough in that text that she has stuff to chew on, and you are often going to get a reply that tells you when she is free to meet. After that, you just pick a time, tell her the place, and now you can see her again, IN-PERSON. No need for two weeks of texting. No need for NOT texting her at all and just letting it ghost. There is no need to overcomplicate things, and you also do not want to PROCRASTINATE. Just fire off the right texts for her, set up the date, and now you can spend time with her again in-person instead of letting that connection die on the vine.

Remember this? On November 3rd, 2017, 16-year-old Logan Dandley was walking home from school when Nicholas Hoffman, a senior at the same school, struck Dandley with his car. Why? Because Dandley took some weed from Hoffman’s friend. Dandley had severe injuries and was airlifted to Shock Trauma in Baltimore and miraculously survived. Hoffman received life in prison with all but 25 years suspended. (Which means Hoffman will have to spend 25 years MINIMUM before being considered for parole.) His life is over. The best years of his life, GONE. The girl in the car? She stops writing after 3 months and goes to prom with one of your trusted buddies. The guy you did this for? He’s stops writing after 4 months and moves on with his life. You become a memory he revisits every 3-4 years. The kid you hit? He recovers, matures, gets married, has kids, and has a crazy story to tell with his poker buddies. You? Nothing. You’ll possibly never again: • Fuck pussy • Drink a cold beer • Eat steak • Hold the newest iPhone • Get married • Have kids • Travel somewhere other than prison to prison Over $40 worth of weed. You are going to think about that EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. Best case scenario? The board actually grants parole your first time up (they NEVER do). You get out at 42, but you never readjust. You don’t know how to talk to women. Interact with others. Modernity is foreign to you. You isolate. Hide from the world. You are stuck in 2017. The world moved on without you. Misery is all you know. Regret consumes you. All over $40 worth of weed. You traded your life for that. Dumbass.

Zelensky won the 2019 election by a landslide, securing over 73% of the vote, the highest margin of any previous presidential candidate. He was an appealing candidate as he was a political outsider with a populist agenda. I believe that many Ukrainians saw in him a typical Ukrainian citizen, one who understood the historical blood ties & geographical realities without sacrificing the path to a European future. His central campaign promises were to end the endemic corruption, bring peace with Russia & resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine, promising to “do everything” for a ceasefire, including a dialogue with Russia & implementing the Minsk agreements. He also promised economic reforms to improve living standards, usher in a direct democracy & return power to the people of Ukraine. Any reasonable person should now be able to see just how epically he failed on delivering on those promises. Blaming Russia won’t quite stand up to scrutiny as his approval ratings plummeted to 27% prior to 2022. As we are fortunate to live in a digital age & with Zelensky being a public figure we can look back at what he had to say in his own words well before he chose to enter politics as well as when he was campaigning. In the third video he states in newly learned Ukrainian “I turned to Putin and said: I am ready to get on my knees, just do not put Ukraine on her knees. I am now ready to get on my knees before every mother who did not wait for her son to return from the front. I am ready to kneel before every wife who did not wait for her husband. I am ready to kneel before every child who waited but never saw their father return.” There aren’t enough lifetimes for him to get off his knees at this point. To come back to my previous posts, prior to meeting Zelensky, Putin said this “It’s one thing to play someone & another to be someone. Obviously, acting requires talent. Many talents. One of these talents is impersonation. You can change your role every ten minutes. The prince & the pauper - every 10 minutes, & you have to be convincing in every role. This is really a talent.” … he then proceeded to list the qualities needed to be an effective leader & finished with this “I am not saying that Mr Zelensky lacks these qualities; he very well may possess them. There may be a lack of experience, but experience, as people say, can be gained, it comes quickly. Does he have all the other qualities that I mentioned? He very well may have, but I do not know as he has not shown them in any way so far. But what we see is contradictory statements: he says one thing during the election campaign, & another thing afterward. Time will tell. We will see.” When they met in person in Normandy, Putin followed through on what he said before they met, that he wasn’t outright dismissing him due to his inexperience & initial flip flopping, he was open to having real dialogue & finding solutions. Zelensky’s head of office at the time, who was present for these conversations, emphasized that Putin was respectful & tried to find common ground to resolve issues but instead of taking the opportunity to deliver on what got him elected, Zelensky promised one thing but did nothing. This reaffirmed Putin’s initial observations of Zelensky saying one thing during the election campaign & a completely different thing after. Of course I am well aware that when it comes to this war, what led up to it & whether it could have been avoided, it’s not black & white. It’s complex, multifaceted, brimming with nuance, & cannot be oversimplified. There are people on both sides suffering from such severe cognitive dissonance that they are no longer capable of considering any narrative that challenges their position, even minimally. These posts aren’t for them. They are for those who are still capable of critical thinking even when it’s uncomfortable. As Putin said, “time will tell, we will see.” Time has now passed. I know what I see, but I’m curious as to what others see.
