Greg Abbott is trafficking ex-offenders onto our streets. Many who are homeless were offloaded there by private prisons. The private prisons are run by Greg Abbott’s donors and they get contracts with the state. Private prisons move inmates into our communities and release them onto our streets where they know no one. They are set up to fail, then the private prisons make more money when they reoffend. It's a vicious cycle that puts Texans in danger.

BlackRock and Vanguard are the biggest investors in private prisons and I would strongly advise you to take a close look at which politicians are holding stock.

The Tories failed to build the prisons they promised. They left our prisons on the edge of collapse. We will build thousands of new prison places to keep streets safe and our Sentencing Review will make sure our prisons never run out of space again.
