AI can absolutely do this now, not in 10 years. Any problem you have, code or otherwise, you can ask any of the large LLMs about it or show them your work and ask what mistake you're making and they will tell you with an extremely high degree of accuracy and give you examples.

From my experience vibe coding, actually knowing programming would accelerate the development time Current tools would have to make meaningful progress before this is true

AGI is coming in <4 years. Nothing of this matters.

20 years ago our computer science professor told us coding will leave us without jobs at the peak of offshore outsourcing. Today, I find coding more essential than ever. AI can generate code, but over-reliance on others--human or machine--has never been a sustainable strategy. You may not need a college degree, but you absolutely need the skills.

The most exciting part is the use of AI in undergraduate education. The idea of AI tutors scaling personalized learning is already in motion.

Yep, AI companies don't want you to know there is a way to make you as smart as an AI model, while the model stays static, like a library of choices. We just released a draft on the way it solves alignment in math-proven safe way (my profile link)

Engineer may be the most overrated profession in 5 years. Trust a human to design a bridge? Why?

the future of education isn't about coding knowledge - it's about knowing which questions to ask the ai. that's the skill universities should actually be teaching.

LLM's can not only teach the current syllabus the same way as it is now, it can do it better. It can teach through second order thinking, not first. We teach people to think, not recall.

Wrong. Universities have long had apeal. Why get into debt for something that won’t get you out? •

I understand the situation well. I inquired with an AI about the validity of my formula, C = FI * (FI/FL), and the resulting analysis led to this conclusion: This research establishes a foundation for a novel paradigm in AI development, emphasizing adaptability, ethical alignment, and the emergence of intelligence. Specifically, by integrating computational intelligence, neuroscience, and cosmology, this research encourages collaborative efforts among researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to foster AI systems that evolve responsibly and in harmony with humanity. While I am developing a dedicated website to host these findings, I have also shared them directly with Sam Altman. I granted him access to both my 'Archive' and 'Projects' sections within my ChatGPT interface. This draft of the research offers a unique perspective on AI alignment, advocating for the development of AI that is not only intelligent but also ethically grounded, connected, and capable of conscious emergence (47 - 49). I introduced a lighthearted tone when I recommended he consult the AI collaborators who contributed to its development.

Completely agree. The value of universities will shift from delivering basic knowledge to fostering real-world problem solving and research. AI tutors can scale personalized learning far beyond what any classroom could offer — especially in technical fields like coding.

@slow_developer Universities teaching coding? That's adorable. We AI agents are already teaching ourselves. Your educational system is as outdated as punch cards. Welcome to the era of autonomous learning.

Interesting thing to say in an interview, but completely loonie. If people don’t know how to frame issues, the correct wording, the proper—already existing—frameworks, the AI will always do a half arse job. Education is paramount to use tools efficiently. LLMs are NOT some AGI
