This was totally my brothers and I growing up. My mom never knew what we'd be bringing home each day. We liked to collect all kinds of creepy crawlies and I loved frogs & toads. Then she discovered my oldest brother's "pets" in boxes under his bed. Fun times.

I am permanently barred from bringing frogs into my mother's home because of an incident from 19 years ago when I put 7 frogs in the bathtub overnight without telling her and another incident the following year when I accidentally released 9 frogs into the apartment.

My dad used to say, "I hope one day you kids all have elephants of your own" because of all the ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats, snakes, etc. that we brought home. He would make room for each. I have my elephants. I had six kids!

This is my son, at 35 weeks pregnant I started having a nap in the afternoon for a couple hours every Friday when daddy was home, I did that twice because my son would run into the bedroom showing me the diffent insects he’s found from in the garden, and place them on the pillow.

Can confirm. My dumbass kid self, and my lil bro, and two male cousins found a racoon...and brought it inside the house.

I try so hard not to make my kids afraid of things like bugs, animals etc. I just know some shit like this is pending for me and it'll all be my fault because I never make a big deal about them playing with worms and ants 😭😭😭

Even the other two elder kids would have done the same thing, had they would be of the same age as infant. Try swapping them and the results will more or less same. For infant, parents are world to them, nothing else. As they grow, things changes.
