Never play a back 3, Phillips and Malanda are a good pairing as we saw against Wolves, as a 2 they know their jobs. In midfield don't leave Morris isolated, Malanda is not a midfielder and McGree simply hasn't the legs to track back (their 2nd goal)

Stop messing about with the back 4...Ayling and Sarmiento shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11 and if stop using a defeder for the extra midfielder. You have Barron on the bench who hasn't been given a chance. That is the worst 2 points i've seen thrown away for a long time

Rotation is fine, Mcgree in for Berhalter made sense, Berhalter was poor against Stoke and looked knackered but the system was wrong, Malanda and McGree in hybrid roles and being off their game meant we effectively had one midfielder first half and that's where they took charge.
