Grok 4.6 vs Kimi K3 I gave the same prompt to Grok 4.6 and Kimi K3. And I must say Kimi k3 is so better. > The overall theme is nicer. > colors are fulfilling. > The controls are smoother > even the viewing angle is better. By the way I used Grok 4.6 high fast and Kimi K3 high

I gave Kimi K3 and Opus 5 the exact same prompt to build a car racing game. I expected Opus 5 to take the lead. Instead, Kimi K3 finished in ~25 min for ~$8.9, while Opus 5 took 19 min and cost $14. The biggest surprise wasn’t the speed or the price. Kimi K3 built the better game. Smoother controls, better physics, and a driving experience that felt ready from the start. Opus 5 looked cleaner visually but Kimi won where it actually mattered. Nearly half the cost and the better gameplay.

We implemented Kimi K3's native harness in Rust. Now, Interpreter is the #1 trending Rust repo in the world. Apache licensed, ACP + Codex SDK compatible — a CLI for the next generation of open models.

I tested Qwen 3.8 Max vs Kimi K3 Same scene, lighting, props, detail requirements. Qwen's output is decent, but it's not close to Kimi K3. Qwen's output came out messy, text handling was off, and the composition felt unorganized next to Kimi's version. In my opinion, Qwen isn't second to Fable 5 either, and it's also below GPT-5.6 Sol. It's a solid model, but not at that tier. Kimi K3 is still clearly ahead here.

Codex now has more of the iOS app development loop built directly inside the app. The Build iOS Apps plugin lets Codex view and test an iOS app in the in-app browser, open SwiftUI previews, and hot reload edits without forcing the developer to leave Codex.

I tested Kimi K3 vs Claude Opus 4.8 Same prompt, an armory bay with lighting, props, and detail. Top is Kimi K3, bottom is Opus 4.8. It's not even close. Kimi K3 built a full scene with textures, proper lighting, ammo crates, weapon racks, working detail everywhere. Opus 4.8 gave me a near empty room with a couple of floating tables. No doubt it beats Opus 4.8. Kimi K3 is Fable 5 level, and it's clearly better than GPT-5.6 Sol at 3D and games. An open weight model just matched the best closed models on the market. Let that sink in.

Fable 5.1 vs Kimi K3 Tested both models with the same prompt at the highest reasoning level available. > Fable took 18 minutes to complete this test and cost $12.60 > Kimi K3 took 10 minutes and cost around $6.95 Which one wins here?

I asked Kimi K3 to build MECCHA CHAMELEON and this is what came out: Kimi K3 built it for $15 Fable 5 wanted $28 what shocked me was the netcode i braced for spaghetti and got clean lobby sync on the first pass where it fumbled was art and shaders that part needed me holding its hand the whole way my honest read after two days living inside it fable 5 is still smarter when the bug gets truly nasty but kimi k3 carries 80 percent of a real project for a third of the money and once you feel that gap close you cannot unfeel it whole build cost me less than lunch the frontier tax just started looking optional

AN ENTIRE PLAYABLE CYBERPUNK CITY FROM ONE SINGLE PROMPT → give Kimi K3 the idea and it builds you the whole city → move through the streets in 3D → neon lights, traffic, reactive buildings → all running in the browser $3 in API with K3. the same would run about $9 with Fable 5 this needed a full game studio a month ago
