A few people were attacked, including a male jogger, a woman with a small baby, and a lovely elderly woman who volunteers in the community; she was stabbed and hospitalised. The attacker, a man understood to be a foreign national in his late 20s, was arrested. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims. Dublin is not safe, and this is down to deliberate political decisions by successive governments and those so-called opposition TDs and councillors who bury their heads in the sand.
