One important detail is missing😅, the Kinshasa Ring Road isn't just a 73 km highway. It also includes 10 bridges, 1 tunnel and a major interchange, making it one of the DRC's most ambitious urban infrastructure projects.👌🏻😎 @MamyKazadi @albcontact @dr_dash250 @FactsOnRwanda

MMRDA’s vision of transforming Thane into a major mobility-led economic hub has crossed another crucial milestone, with pile foundation and pier construction work for the creek portion of the Gaimukh–Payegaon Bridge nearing completion. As per the latest update, piling work along the Thane Creek portion is now over 95% complete. Pier erection and pier-cap construction are also progressing rapidly, while work has advanced at both the Gaimukh and Paye–Payegaon ends of the project Overall, around 25% of the project has now been completed. The 6.5-km creek bridge is a key link in the multimodal mobility network being developed by MMRDA to transform connectivity across Thane and the wider region. The network brings together multiple road, metro rail and tunnel projects, planned as part of an integrated approach to regional mobility. The bridge will connect Gaimukh on Ghodbunder Road with Chinchoti and Payegaon, creating a more direct connection to Bhiwandi, Vasai and the northern parts of the MMR. Ghodbunder Road is already one of Thane’s busiest transport corridors, carrying traffic between the city, Mumbai’s western suburbs, Mira-Bhayandar and the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Highway. At present, commuters travelling from Thane towards Chinchoti, Payegaon or Vasai have to cross the ghat section at Ghodbunder, where traffic is further affected by the movement of heavy vehicles. The creek bridge will allow this ghat section to be bypassed completely, creating a faster and more direct route for commuters and freight movement. The bridge will also strengthen connectivity with several major transportation projects, including the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail, Thane Coastal Road, Virar–Alibaug Multimodal Corridor, Diva–Vasai railway line, National Highway 48 and the Anjur–Chinchoti Road, among others. More than a bridge, the Gaimukh–Payegaon Creek Bridge is a critical link in building a connected mobility ecosystem for Thane, strengthening its position as a major mobility and economic hub. #MMRDA #Thane #GaimukhPayegaonBridge #InfrastructureDevelopment #ReimaginingMMR #MumbaiInMinutes #IntegratedMobility #ViksitMaharashtra CMO Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis Eknath Shinde - एकनाथ शिंदे Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee MAHARASHTRA DGIPR PIB India

WHY TINUBU? with SEYILAW: Roads and Real Progress For some, the phrase “na road we go chop” is tossed around casually, as if road infrastructure were a luxury rather than a necessity. But this is not ignorance. It is a dangerous dismissal of the role of roads play in development, economic empowerment, and the security of our people. I speak not from hearsay but from lived experience, and I invite you to fact-check me yourself. For the first time in many years, Nigeria is witnessing an unprecedented wave of road construction projects. No administration before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s has embarked on repairs and new builds at this scale. Across the country, the evidence is visible: - Southwest & South-South: - Shagamu–Benin Expressway - Ore–Akure Road - Akure–Ado Road - Benin–Sapele–Warri route - Benin–Asaba Road Ibadan - Akure road - Southeast & South-South: - Port Harcourt–Enugu Road - Benue–Enugu Road - East–West Road (Port Harcourt–Warri section, ~75% complete) - Enugu–Onitsha Expressway (~60% complete) - Benin–Auchi–Okene Road (~55% complete) - Newly built Eke Obinagu Flyover, Enugu Ebony - Calabar - Abuja road. Bonny - Port Harcourt Road - Southwest: - Lagos–Ibadan Expressway (~90% complete) - Ilorin–Jebba–Mokwa Road (~81% complete) - Oyo–Ogbomosho Road - North & Middle Belt: - Abuja–Lokoja Road (~65% complete) - Abuja–Keffi–Akwanga–Lafia–Makurdi Road (~70% complete) - Kano–Maiduguri Expressway (remaining sections ~70% complete) And yes, I deliberately left out the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto–Badagry Highway—because even without them, the scale of ongoing work is staggering. I also refused to mention the level of roads done in Abuja by Minister Nyesom Wike. This is not about emotions or partisan loyalty. It is about facts on the ground. The roads are being built, repaired, and completed. So before you dismiss the progress as a side issue, please counter with real evidence. Thank you. SEYILAW #WHYTINUBU #SEYILAW #TINUBU2027

I’m glad people are beginning to see how badly run Governor Jide’s administration has been. There are far more abandoned projects than completed ones, and that is very disappointing. It feels like seven years have passed with very little that directly improves people’s daily lives. Under this administration, you can see a 50-meter road taking almost eight years to complete. Basic infrastructure now looks like rocket science. Many projects are started but never finished across Lagos, both in highbrow and low-income areas. If you want a current comparison, look at Nyesom Wike who is very much a "politician". His administration is ongoing just like this one, yet he has already delivered over 15 flyovers and more than 300 roads. Meanwhile, Lagos has more resources, talent, and access to funds, yet we still struggle to complete any meaningful major bridge. Even the Opebi Link Bridge has been completed for months but is still not in use. Another issue is the state of major roads. The Lekki‑Epe Expressway is a critical road that should be rehabilitated to the highest standard, yet just see the shabby work his team is doing. Why not give such roads to reputable companies like Julius Berger, Craneburg Construction Company, or Hi‑Tech Construction Company to fix them properly? So when are they going to do the finishing if not now? Even the drainage infrastructure in the whole of Lekki today is still largely what was built during the administration of Babatunde Fashola around 2008, with no meaningful upgrades despite the massive population growth, all the interlock laid by Gov. Fashola has been eroded and its less than 7 months to E1..yet no single sign of environmental management. At the same time, the government keeps announcing huge IGR figures, but people cannot clearly see the impact of that money on infrastructure. Roads remain in poor condition and many projects remain unfinished. Is he the only politician in Nigeria??? This is not just criticism; it is a genuine concern. Lagos is supposed to be a mega city, yet under this administration, infrastructure appears to be deteriorating instead of improving. A government should at least deliver visible, tangible projects that people can point to, but that has largely been missing. 🎥: embarrassing shabby work bring done on one of lagos' must critical transport corridor Lekki-Epe Expressway, and AI rendering of a basic and easily achievable finishing

🚨An Open Letter on Accountability, Regional Security, and Enforcing the Washington and Doha Accords To: President Donald Trump, Secretary Marco Rubio, Envoy Massad Boulos, The European Union Commission, The State of Qatar, RE: Sanction Kinshasa and its Allies for Violating the Washington and Doha Accords. Excellencies and Partners in Peace, We address you at a critical turning point for the African Great Lakes region. For decades, the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has suffered from an unremitting cycle of instability and severe violence. Hope emerged when your leadership brought about historic diplomatic frameworks: the Washington Peace Agreement and the Doha processes. These agreements were binding commitments designed to address root causes of conflict. Central to these was the absolute obligation for Kinshasa to disarm, dismantle, and sever all ties with the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR), a militant group driven by a genocidal ideology whose members participated in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. More than a year has elapsed since the Washington Accords, yet Kinshasa's pledges remain unfulfilled. Instead of acting in good faith to eliminate the FDLR within the established 90-day window, the DRC government has pursued defiance and evasion. Current intelligence and on-the-ground verifications highlight a troubling reality: 🔖Active Collusion with the FARDC: There is no genuine separation between the Congolese armed forces (FARDC) and the FDLR. Militants continue to function side-by-side with state forces, expanding tactical positions across North and South Kivu. 🔖Deceptive Maneuvers: Rather than disbanding this genocidal movement, Kinshasa has engaged in clandestine accommodations to rebrand their public image and integrate a terrorist entity into a political movement. 🔖Unchallenged Impunity: Shielded by DRC authorities, FDLR leadership operates without fear, confident that Kinshasa will protect them from accountability under the U.S.-backed CONOPS blueprint. Diplomacy devoid of enforcement is an open invitation to ongoing aggression. When a signatory government breaches peace treaties, delays timelines, and harbors genocidal groups, dialogue becomes complicit behavior. The era of indefinite patience has concluded. The United States, Qatar, and the European Union dedicated substantial political capital to secure these peace tracks. Permitting Kinshasa to treat these treaties with disregard undermines international credibility and leaves vulnerable civilians exposed to continuous hardship. Consequently, we urgently call upon the U.S. administration, Secretary Rubio, Mr. Boulos, the EU Commission, and Qatar to implement firm, punitive measures: 🔖Enact Targeted Sanctions: Apply robust financial, travel, and economic restrictions against Congolese political figures, military officials, and allied actors who support, fund, or harbor the FDLR in violation of the Washington and Doha Accords. 🔖Reject the Rehabilitation of Terror: Formally condemn and dismiss any backchannel deals between Kinshasa and the FDLR aimed at legitimizing or integrating a genocidal faction under the guise of civilian reintegration programs. 🔖Mandate Compliance with CONOPS: Require the immediate execution of the agreed-upon Concept of Operations (CONOPS) to permanently dismantle the FDLR, backed by rigorous oversight mechanisms. 🔖Hold Regional Partners Accountable: Make all future international financial and diplomatic assistance to the DRC conditional upon verifiable proof of a complete severance of all relationships with non-state armed militias and terrorist elements. The structural blueprint for peace is established. What has been absent is political resolve from Kinshasa, coupled with decisive international enforcement, to compel full compliance. The time to act is now. Donald J. Trump Department of State U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs Marco Rubio JD Vance European Commission Ursula von der Leyen Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Qatar Sincerely,

🔨 THE GREAT VICTORIAN GOLD HEIST 🔨 💰THE BIG DIG ‼️‼️‼️👇👇👇👁️👁️👁️😡😡😡 AUSTRALIAN’S (at least) must SHARE THIS What if I told you there’s a multi-billion dollar gold resource sitting right under Melbourne? 🏛️💸 Even more shocking: this gold is located exactly where the Labor Government’s Big Build worksites are excavating millions of tonnes of earth. 🏗️🚧 Why is this excavated earth being classified as “contaminated” and quietly hauled away? 🚚🤫 Could it be “contaminated” with our gold, minerals, and gemstones? 💎🕵️ The Law is Clear: Under Victorian legislation, if gold is struck, work must stop. A permit must be registered to log the discovery. Given the 24/7 drilling and boring by the CFMEU, it is almost certain they’ve hit something valuable. Where are the registered permits? 🔍 Where is our gold? 😠 Why are they digging under “spooky pirate flags” telling us to stay away? 🏴‍☠️ There was never a solid business case for these $100 billion+ projects. It’s becoming clear that road and rail outcomes might never have been the primary goal. Instead, these infrastructure projects appear to be a cover for a massive resource grab by Labor, the CFMEU, and foreign interests. 😈🇦🇺 Jacinta Allan’s Think it sounds far-fetched? Billions have already vanished into “cost overruns” on these same sites with zero accountability and no prosecutions. They get away with stealing $30 billion in taxpayer funds the same way they get away with stealing OUR GOLD. 🔨💰🚫 The digging continues, the contracts keep being signed, and the wealth of Victoria is being trucked out under our very noses. It’s time to demand answers.

Recorded this today around 7 pm (19/05/2026) in and around Sector 50 & Nirvana Country, Gurugram, extending toward Sector 65. After noticing very poor air conditions, I drove roughly 1.5 km through the area for a wider check. What I saw on ground is hard to process. The worst conditions were concentrated around Sector 65, blanketed in dust - multiple active construction sites and large projects with effectively zero dust control measures. Along with this, broken and unpaved stretches and constant movement of vehicles over loose soil are creating continuous dust clouds. In several areas visibility dropped so badly that cars were using fog lights in broad daylight. Respected Commission for Air Quality Management ,Central Pollution Control Board and HSPCB GURUGRAM NORTH kindly note this is not normal dust or routine construction impact. It is uncontrolled dust pollution in a densely populated residential belt. The dust clouds are enveloping our areas. Neither the project proponents nor the public land-owning / road maintenance authorities appear to be making any effort to contain this massive dust generation, nor are they complying with basic construction dust containment guidelines (NGT norms). This is especially severe around Sector 65, directly impacting facing sectors like 49,50,51, 64, 67 and also worsened by dug-up stretches along GCER, turning the entire belt into a continuous dust zone. This is directly affecting residents and school-going children along these roads. 7 prominent schools in and around these sectors ! With GRAP Stage 1 now imposed by the Commission for Air Quality Management, enforcement is supposed to be stricter. But what is visible on ground is clear non-compliance. This needs immediate inspection and strict enforcement. Stop Work Where Norms Are Being Violated . Dust control is a necessity it cannot be optional in a residential zone. #GRAP1 #AirPollution #HealthHazard #DustPollution #Gurugram #Sector65 #Sector50 #NirvanaCountry #GCER #ConstructionDust #RoadDust #PublicHealth Chief Secretary Haryana CMO Haryana MoEF&CC GMDA Haryana State Pollution Control Board Respected political representatives: Rao Inderjit Singh Rao Narbir Singh Arti Singh Rao -requesting your urgent attention to the severe dust pollution situation in Sector 65 / Sector 50 belt. Please ensure strict enforcement by local authorities under GRAP Stage 1 to protect public health and ensure compliance on ground.

Pune Metro has been the cause for the maximum disruption of traffic and causing traffic chaos across Pune for the past decade. Besides this is a government run by thugs and thieves along with corporate executives who have pouring concrete over the entire city as their only objective. Among other things. We are trying to knock some sense into the @punemetro3 , roads and projects department to be more environmentally conscious. It’s mostly a losing battle. Unfortunately large corporate interests such as Tata Group Larsen & Toubro KPMG India are all complicit in the denuding of the cities green cover. It’s astonishing that they as of yet don’t have the capacities in-house to simply help move ancient trees 🌳 in situ at the same location or another as the case may be - so that Pune doesn’t have to sacrifice its ancient trees. Their engineering under the mandate of the chump in chief Devendra Fadnavis and his sidekick Ajit Pawar is about laying to waste a living breathing city. Never about conservation. When they’re not defending criminals like Karads or Mundes this is what they do…. Turn Mumbai and Pune into a dust bowl desert. Some notes emergent out of yesterday’s meetings with the metro officials. 1. The metro work has been the cause of the maximum tree felling in the area through Mann Hinjewadi to Shivajinagar. It also is the cause of the maximum traffic jams across the city in the past decade. 2. There isn’t a single example of the Pune IT City Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. having replanted or transplanted a single tree 🌳 fully in all its glory along this route. Not one success story. 3. What has happened instead is that trees in their hundreds and at times without permission have been butchered by the Metro authorities under the offices of Bhanudas Mane. Sakalnagar has lost 40 trees. Ganeshkhind Road over a few hundred trees. Karve road countless old growth trees. Wherever the metro goes, it creates traffic jams and destroys the road side green cover. 4. These criminals led by the offices of the Municipal Commisioner and supported by the house of Tata’s @RNTata2000 are responsible for the destruction of the green cover of Ganeshkhind Road. Aundh Baner Balewadi Road until Hinjewadi. 5. Some sad transplantation techniques have been applied along with making rudimentary compensatory plantation attempts to come up with numbers to justify further tree felling along Ganeshkhind Road. The biomass lost hasn’t been replaced by the biomass newly planted (never was meant to be). What was meant to be was to screw Pune’s population out of its green cover and its ability to fight pollution and traffic caused by the increasing heat and dust from the metro work force which will justify anything in its means to keep destroying the city and its natural capital. 6. All the officials involved have been incriminated on several counts in the courts of law, especially at NGT and Supreme Court and High Court. A current contempt proceeding also remains open towards these matters. Yet, nothing is taken seriously by any of them. Tree felling permissions continue to be applied for, they continue to be given despite strong objections raised by all citizens groups and movements. It’s a KPMG & BJP modus operandi to destroy our environment. Today Ganeshkhind Road is a former shadow of itself. The Metro work looms over everything here. 7. Despite the road department, projects department and the Metro Transit functions having made commitments to transplant trees In situ with minimum damage at the same locations preferably. Some or the other excuse is always given and not a single example of a successful transplantation of huge ancient trees along the roads exist. What does exist is gerrymandering of the records and data to keep showing trees as of lesser age, lesser dimensions, lesser numbers than what is actually reflective of reality on the ground. SOKOTO–BADAGRY SUPER HIGHWAY: TURNING A DECADES-OLD VISION INTO REALITY For decades, the idea of a major highway linking Nigeria’s North-West to the South-West remained largely a vision. Today, that vision is taking physical shape. The 1,068-kilometre Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects being pursued by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda. The significance of this project goes far beyond the construction of another road. It is about connecting markets, opening up agricultural communities, strengthening regional trade, improving mobility and creating a strategic economic corridor between the North and the South. The highway will run from Illela in Sokoto State, near the Niger Republic border, through Kebbi, Niger, Kwara and Oyo States, before reaching Badagry in Lagos. And the work is already visible. In Kebbi State, which hosts the longest stretch of the project at approximately 258 kilometres, construction is progressing with concrete pavement, earthworks, drainage and other major engineering works. As of May 2026, 19 kilometres of concrete pavement had been completed, while Sections 2A and 2B had reached approximately 40% and 16% completion respectively. In Sokoto State, work is also progressing on a 120-kilometre section from Illela, forming the northern end of this strategic corridor. What makes the project particularly significant is its design. The Federal Government says the corridor incorporates concrete pavement technology, CCTV surveillance and street lighting, with the aim of delivering a road that is not only durable, but safer and more economically transformative. For the North-West, the potential impact is enormous. Agricultural products such as rice, tomatoes and onions can move more efficiently to markets. Farmers can gain easier access to equipment and commercial centres. Traders can move goods across regions with greater speed, while communities along the corridor can become more connected to wider economic opportunities. There is also a wider agricultural dimension. Government officials have linked the corridor to irrigation infrastructure and dams that can support year-round farming and food production, strengthening the economic potential of communities along the route. This is why the Sokoto–Badagry project matters. President Tinubu did not simply inherit a road project and leave it on paper. His administration reviewed the design and masterplan, made adjustments, awarded contracts and moved the project into active construction. The project may take time to complete, but the most important fact is this: A vision that remained unrealised for decades is now being built on the ground. From Sokoto to Badagry, Nigeria is building a new economic connection between the North and the South. The vision was old. The construction is happening now. Renewed Hope. Building the connections that move Nigeria forward.
