Great points by Kirby. The entire problem with the playoff is it continues a stubborn insistence that all power conferences are more or less the same.

He cooked, I’m afraid.

He's spot on, not all leagues are the same, not all schedules are the same, wins and losses are not all the same. Until the SOS and RPI is truly factored into the decision process for the the CFP, keep the SEC at 8.

He’s right. Not all conference are equal and the committee seemingly looked at # of losses last year to make their decision on the CFP teams.

Literally all of the fans of SEC teams want to see more matchups. For example, Alabama is playing at UGA this fall for the first time in a decade. That should never be the case.

🙌🏻 Nailed it!

Facts

If the SEC plays 8 conference games then they should have to play at least TWO Power 4 non conference games If the Big 10 stats at 9 conference games then they should play at one non conference game vs a Power 4 school. Can we all agree?

Go to 9 and quit crying… SEC Teams left out had horrible losses

Somebody call the Wambulance . I’m not sure why the SEC has to cry so much they already get preferential treatment that reflects their schedule
