Here we are 👀 There are honestly so many things to say. First of all, I want to thank you all for the insane support, both here and on Twitch. Sometimes I stop and think about how far I’ve come… and if you’ve seen the video about my past, you already know. TCGs mean way more to me than just a game, they literally saved me. And you saved me. My only goal was to win this tournament. I didn’t care about glory or prizes, I had to win it for my Mom This is for her. I’m sure she saw everything that happened today and how many people were there for me ❤️ I want to thank all my friends there are way too many to tag. Usually I’m the one giving them props 🤣 Shoutout to my sister as well, who “blessed” me by saying: “You have a 1 in a million chance to win this tournament.” Well… it was the right timeline 🦋 The final was literally the one I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve always joked with Mirko about playing a final against him, and like I told you, he’s one of the reasons I even started playing TCGs. It really feels closing the circle. I also want to talk about what happened in Top 4. It’s two full days of playing, a lot of pressure, and an insanely high level. You all saw the names in this top cut playing at that level for so long is not easy at all. And I’ll say this clearly: Mirko is one of the most genuine people I know. What happened on feature was an UNINTENTIONAL misplay. It happens everyone has made mistakes like that at least once. Don’t be too harsh, there are bigger problems than that. Tomorrow is my 57th birthday. I love being exactly this age. I don't care what people think of me. I say what I want to say. I do what I think is right. It took a few draggings across the internet, a high profile cancellation, and a great husband to help me get here. Yes, it absolutely sucked to be vilified for exposing abuse in gymnastics, to be the first person willing to tell the truth about the cruel and abusive training environment. Ten years of being berated and reviled by the people I trained with, by the governing body for the sport, by other leaders in the sport around the world ... well, it was not for the faint of heart. But their lies about me only strengthened my resolve. I knew it had to be even worse than I experienced for them to come for me so hard. And I was right. There was Larry Nassar. Yes, it absolutely sucked to lose a career I'd spent over 30 years building because I said schools should open during covid. The harassment and brutal attacks were even worse this time. But I'd trained for it - to stand my ground. To stand up for children. And I was right then too. And now I've chosen a difficult path. To start a new brand, in my 50s. A brand that truly stands up for female athletes, for fair competition. For biological reality. But we're doing it. We're making an impact. And building a brand. I do what some tell me I should not do - because I think it is the right thing. It took me a long time to get here. I'm not going back. If you’re tired of seeing my face in your newsfeed or on the TV, apologies in advance, because it’s about to get a lot worse. By the end of the year, you’re going to be absolutely sick of me, due to America’s ever widening skills gap, and our ongoing attempts to close it with a record number of work ethic scholarships from mikeroweWORKS, and therefor, a record number of invitations to apply. The situation is serious. Skilled tradespeople are retiring much faster than they’re being replaced. For every 5 that leave the workforce, two come in. The math is not sustainable, and not a week goes by that I don’t hear from some industry leader wondering if I can help with their recruiting challenges. Every trade is in demand like never before. In fact, there’s been so much outreach from so many CEO’s and elected officials, that we’ve doubled the size of our scholarship fund, and extended the application period this year from six weeks to nine months. Last year, we received 10X the number of applications we normally get, and this year, with the disruption of AI, I suspect the number will be even higher. These are AI-proof, six-figure jobs that don’t require college debt, but instead, training. Thus, I will be cluttering up the media landscape with an onslaught of invitations to apply for scholarships, (like the one attached,) and good-natured appeals to support our efforts with a modest (or immodest) donation. Toward that end, I’m pleased to announce that the enrollment period is officially open. Funds are now available to help train the next generation of skilled workers. My goal this year is to award $10 million in scholarships, and you’re invited to apply today. Or, if the spirit moves you, to support our efforts with a donation of any size. This can be the superpower of the Neural Band that Meta is giving together with the Ray-Ban Meta Display glasses. The video shows an old prototype bracelet by CTRL+LABS, the startup acquired by Meta and whose technology was used to develop the Neural Band. At the beginning of the video, the guy makes an action (a keyboard key press) with his hands, then the bracelet can substitute the key pressure, and at the end of the video, the guy doesn't even have to do the action; it is just sufficient that he "thinks" about it. As long as the brain is sending an electric message to the fingers, the full action is not necessary anymore. Just an "intention" to move them is necessary. If the Neural Band is evolved to this stage, and the users are educated to this, potentially, we may not even need to perform air taps or writing gestures, but we could just think about doing them. This would reduce a lot of the fatigue of using XR devices and the weirdness of using them on the street. Then why isn't this feature available today? I guess that the reason is twofold. First of all, we have accuracy: the full gesture is easier to detect for the system. Many people (me included) are praising the accuracy of the Neural Band, and this is amazing, because an input mechanism should have a reliability close to 100%. Then we, as users, have never been trained to just "think" about actions: it would feel weird and hard to learn. I think we should undergo some training to learn how to do this "thinking" operation properly. I hope that something like this could come in the upcoming years... that would be the real game-changer paradigm if compared to the camera-based tracking.

Yesterday as I was walking through Minneapolis with a friend I saw this Lexus parked terribly and commented to him: “get a load of this asshole’s terrible parking.” By complete serendipity, as if the universe itself was saying "be kinder with your spoken thoughts," right at that moment I heard a voice say “hey that’s my car, ICE grabbed me, I’m so sorry!” come from the passenger of a Jeep slowly passing by; the Jeep driver said she was the sister of the Lexus’ owner and that the two of them had just come back from picking her up from Federal detention. I went to go talk to the Lexus’ driver, but first I read the note on the windshield: “THIS WOMAN WAS TAKEN BY ICE. Please don’t hit or tow.” Neighbors put that there, and put a tarp over the window that ICE broke open so snow wouldn’t get in. The Lexus driver, a short, brown haired white woman told me she lived in the area and was driving through looking for parking, when armed ICE agents speedily blocked off the street in front of her, and swarmed the white pickup truck in front of her grabbing its driver. She said people came from throughout the neighborhood with whistles to record them grabbing that driver, and as she was trying to leave, ICE agents swarmed her vehicle as well and proceeded to open her window and door and remove her from her car, slamming her facedown in the street. She said a Federal agent entered her vehicle and parked it like this, before taking her away. I don’t know the story of the pickup driver. I'll be honest, I didn't really believe what I was hearing at first until she showed me the video that a neighbor filmed, confirming the whole story. I asked her to airdrop it to me so I could make this post. This woman was just driving and minding her business one moment, and the next she was snatched, she told me that they said she was "obstructing an investigation." After 24 hours in Federal custody, they released her with only the white shirt she was wearing when I met her, into the -8F cold where her sister was waiting, and they didn't give her back her car keys. She came to make sure her vehicle was still there. There's a lot of people on this platform making all sorts of excuses for the Federal government's despicable behavior in Minneapolis, but what it comes down to is this: they are out of control. They are Out. Of. Control. This woman's story that I saw firsthand is emblematic of the institutional rot at the core of DHS, CBP, and ICE. The agents involved in both shootings this month were 8- and 10-year veterans, not untrained amateurs. There have been three homicides in Minneapolis thus far in 2026- 66% of them have been US citizens murdered by the Federal government. My city is being subjected to a full-fledged occupation by lawless, unprofessional, un-American thugs. They have gone far beyond their stated mission of removing violent criminals and illegal aliens. They have all of us looking at every SUV, every vehicle with out-of-state plates, every vehicle with more than 2 men in it with caution, scrutiny, and concern. Many of my friends have bought guns or have gone to get their conceal carry permits, to stay safe from their own government because it's better to be judged by twelve than to be carried by six. Minneapolis will survive this and will come out stronger for it, because we learned in 2020 that there's no one coming to save us, it's up to us to show up for our friends and neighbors. But people need to know that if the Federal government are doing this to us: You're not safe. You're next.

I am happy to be finally able to post what I was able to build over the last few weeks. A full real-time high-frequency state estimation and mapping algorithm completely written line by line from scratch in Rust, which can be used by robots to navigate and reason within the 3D world also in complicated scenarios. TBH this took me longer than expected (which was still super fast :D) but you need to get a lot right: From the sensors over the drivers to their respective estimation pipeline and then fusing everything together - a covariance nightmare - and something that can be refined over years to come (currently using Fisher Information from the real measurements). What you see here is not the output of some structure from motion or Gaussian splatting, these are the points of a tight mesh (high res for the video) that a robot can use in real time to plan a path using any open-source planner. The flight you experience through the world is the actual state estimate of the scanner which is published at IMU rate. Yes, currently we have some artefacts of filtered-out humans (GDPR compliant of course :) ) and moving cars and there is still some calibration that could be improved. Offline refinement with SFM and Gaussian splats is possible as well but currently not on the road map. What is on the road map is an exciting step of now being able to collect data from customers at construction sites and in warehouses (currently handheld in the near future with a robot). This data can then be used by our physical agents to reason within this world and automate any customer’s task related to 3D data. My experience with Mizkif sexually harassing me: Back in 2019, I hooked up with another streamer who told me he was single, but I later found out he was still involved with a mutual friend. That person anonymously leaked our private DMs. While I was already dealing with that violation of privacy, Mizkif used the situation as content in front of tens of thousands of viewers. On stream, he mocked and degraded me, encouraging others to shame me sexually. His comments included references to adult work I did when I was 18 and sarcastic remarks suggesting I should “come over” so they could use me for content, while his friends joined in slut shaming and ridiculing me. His audience harassed me for months afterwards, echoing his comments. I was only 20 and new to streaming, while most of them were in their late 20s. The entire ordeal was deeply traumatizing. Mizkif later sent me a brief apology, only after realizing his behavior might get him banned. By then, the damage was done. I was a small streamer and too scared to report him in fear of the backlash. I’m not trying to rehash old drama, but I truly believe Mizkif has a pattern of abuse, and does not deserve a platform.
