This Shanghai residential community built in the 1950s has been transformed — from shared kitchens and no bathrooms to modern homes with private facilities and elevators. A vivid example of urban renewal improving everyday life.

Britain Didn't Conquer India - The East India Company Did! We are taught that the British Empire conquered India. That is a lie. India was conquered by a private corporation: The East India Company. This is the story of the most ruthless "startup" in history. Starting with a small office in London, they built a private army twice the size of the British military, toppled the Mughal Empire, and turned an entire subcontinent into a source of shareholder dividends. From the Battle of Plassey to the Opium Wars, discover how a group of merchants became the warlords of Asia. When we think of the British Empire, we imagine the Union Jack, the Royal Navy, and Queen Victoria. But for the first 250 years, the British government didn't own a single inch of India. A private company did. This is the story of the East India Company (EIC) the world's first multinational corporation. It wasn't an army of the King; it was a joint-stock company with shareholders, a board of directors, and a headquarters in London. At its peak, this single corporation commanded a private army twice the size of the British military and ruled over 200 million people. In this video, we expose how a group of merchants with a license to trade spices accidentally (and then ruthlessly) conquered the Indian subcontinent. We breakdown the corporate raiding, the private mercenaries, and the bailouts that make modern Wall Street look like a charity.

Today, alongside Dr. Joram Gumbo, Special Advisor to the President on Monitoring Implementation of Government Programmes and Projects, I was honored to co-lead an extensive monitoring tour across Bulawayo’s key infrastructure and commercial development projects. Together as a high-level delegation, we assessed crucial sites that form the backbone of the city's economic and public service revival. A major highlight of our joint inspection was reviewing the transformation underway at Mpilo Central Hospital under the Presidential Hospital Rehabilitation, Upgrading, and Modernisation Scheme. Through the Prevail Group of Companies, which I chair, we are spearheading this vital rehabilitation work. The scope of work involves a complete overhaul of ageing infrastructure—modernising patient wards with individualised air conditioning, installing new tiling, and fully upgrading the kitchen and bathroom facilities. I am pleased to share that major blocks are currently rapidly nearing completion . Working together with our leadership, we remain dedicated to delivering modern, high-quality healthcare facilities to the people of Bulawayo. #Vision2030

Habitat 67 is one of the most iconic and revolutionary residential complexes in the world, located at Cité-du-Havre along the Saint Lawrence River in Montreal. Designed by Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie, the building originated as his master's thesis at McGill University before being realized as a pavilion and housing model for the world's fair Expo 67. The structure is made of 354 prefabricated concrete modules stacked in a geometric configuration resembling building blocks. Safdie designed the complex to combine the benefits of suburban homes, like private gardens and natural light, with the density of urban high-rises. The configuration created 148 residences where each home occupies one to four cubes and enjoys a private rooftop terrace. The building is a designated historic monument by the city of Montreal and the province of Quebec. While initially intended to showcase affordable housing, it has evolved into a highly desirable luxury address.

"I fell out of bed, all the pictures and books fell down, and then I heard the door fly open and glass shatter from the windows. The house was shaking. I grabbed my cat and ran out of the apartment in just my bathrobe and slippers. All of us, along with our neighbors and children, first ran into the stairwell - there was already a fire from the third to the fifth floor there, and then we went to the neighboring building. It took the firefighters a long time to put out the fire," says Iryna, a resident of the damaged building, recalling the ordeal during russia's drone attack on Zaporizhzhia tonight, September 21. As a result of the shelling, two multi-story residential buildings were damaged, and a shopping center and the biological department building of Zaporizhzhia National University were destroyed. Operations to eliminate the consequences are ongoing at the impact sites.

Inaugurated the first School of Excellence in Chakwal, completed in under a year and now home to 1,400 deserving students. This state-of-the-art institution is equipped with modern educational facilities including a well-stocked library, fully equipped computer labs, and excellent sports infrastructure. The school sets a new benchmark in quality education, offering better facilities than many expensive private institutions, and has been met with great enthusiasm by students and parents alike. The joy & happiness on the faces of children were unmistakable. This is just the beginning. Similar Schools of Excellence are currently under construction in every district, with several nearing completion. Together, they represent a significant step forward in ensuring equitable access to world-class education for all. Remember! Education is the biggest equaliser.

Today, I feel so happy seeing the children benefit from the toilet facilities But I’m disappointed with opening process of the building which I will soon talk about in a video. #Serviceisgod KPY Bala brother shared with me an issue about a school that didn’t have proper toilet and bathroom facilities for the children. He requested support of 2 lakhs, but when I came to know that children are facing many infections because of this issue, my heart sank. I decided to donate 15 lakhs to help them build proper toilet facilities. With this contribution, KPY Bala, along with the support of old students, built these much needed facilities. My thanks to Bala and the old students.
