I feel Porel was doing well as an opener.. Not sure why DC brought him down to 3. I still feel Porel & Faf should open with Karun at 3 & KL at 4. Why KL didn't open is he takes time in PP meanwhile Porel can come & strike from Ball 1 which can ease pressure on Faf as well.

KL has no future in T20Is as opener. So I do think guys like KLR and Gaikwad have discussed with the management and dropped down from their usual opening slot keeping the Intl career in mind
