beating the celtics ended up being a curse in disguise for thibs: raised the knicks' championship expectations immediately, and exposed roster development vulnerabilities against their true biggest obstacle. if they lose to boston as originally anticipated...is he back? idk. but indiana is certainly making the knicks expedite their decision-making and roster strategy.

@PlayProphetX Straight facts fam. We were never going to beat OKC with this starter heavy rotation but Thibs is a real one and is a Knick legend. That being said, we need a championship winning head coach and probably 1 more all star in order to bring the championship to NYC by 2030

@PlayProphetX I think Thibs took them this far which is tremendous in so many ways, but management feels they need a different coach to take them to the promise land. All I am going to say I hope they are right!
