If someone commits an ACTUAL misdeed, I don't care about the verbal reaction. We have freedom of speech for a reason. We shouldn’t have to live in a society where people commit little crimes to trigger a reaction and then get to play victim. That's how the system gets abused.

While we’re pushed to fight over flags, politics, borders and beliefs, a far bigger issue is sliding in quietly: Digital ID. Putting every document, licence, account and right into one global database isn’t progress - it’s a fast track to totalitarian control. Once that switch is flipped, will you still be able to own your home? Take out a mortgage? Drive freely? Access your bank account? And once everything is centralised, it could easily be tied to a social credit system, rewarding “approved” behaviour and punishing anything else. Mid-speech, a security guard tried to shut me down - which made me laugh out loud at the irony. I was literally warning about the dangers of a social credit system while a man in “authority” attempted to silence me. In China, people already live under this: their scores can drop for criticising the government, missing payments, or even the friends they keep. If we had a social credit score here, mine would be dropping just for speaking that day. This links directly to Digital ID. Once every document, account and right is tied to a single ID, adding a score to decide who “deserves” access is only a step away. We must stop letting ourselves be divided over smaller issues. Keir Starmer is presenting the Brit Card digital ID as a way to separate British citizens from immigrants, but the truth is immigrants with work visas will be eligible for the ID as well. We all know the immigrants pouring into the UK will eventually be given work visas so the whole thing is a farce. In 2020 the news service - France24 did an expose into China’s digital ID system. It ranks people via a social credit and gives state oversight and control over every aspect of their lives. It’s disturbing and shocking. Ironically France right this moment is scrambling to build its own Biometric Digital ID system, which the country is negotiating with the entire EU for the whole of the Europe to adopt. The goal is to expand into passports, facial recognition border technology and currency. France has stated that they want to build this to a global digital system. France’s Digital ID system was introduced in 2023 under the guise of keeping children safe from social media. Watch the video below, this is where Luxon is going to take New Zealand to.
