[this goes in the description for my latest Southwest video]

1) Southwest is telling passengers that their issues are ALL weather related, even today, so they don't have to provide meals or accommodation. We were cancelled at home but our bags have been missing for a week. SW is supposed to have contacted us within 24 hours.

If you're dealing with any cancellations/delays, this is an interview I did with @SecretaryPete to go through all of the "fine print" when it comes to airline travel: It should be helpful and I show the exact language/sources on screen as well.

Pro tip: Always keep an extra set of clothes on you if you check bags. I always stick leggings, tshirt, undies rolled and stuffed into socks in my bag.

This is all good assuming you can get someone to answer a phone.

If you paid w/ a credit card w/ travel perks, find out if you have travel insurance & if they cover lost/delayed luggage. Chase Sapphire Reserve & Capital One Venture X have generous refund & replacement policies. Or file a dispute with your CC company to get the charge reversed.

IMPORTANT IF YOU NEED SOUTHWEST AIRLINES HELP: Don't try to call their phone line. Too backed up. Instead go out to their MySpace page or send them a fax!
