ROI on Youth Sports The real ROI on youth sports should be measured by players building resilience, accountability, learning how to be part of a team, sacrificing, being coachable more than it should be on their immediate basketball success. You want to see progress and development, not perfection. When they get to High School, those are the qualities that are going to increase their value compared to their skills. Before you say, no we’re trying to get this $$$ in college basketball…. If you play at a level in college where you will get paid - you are obviously pretty good. But if you didn’t develop those skills like resilience, etc .. YOU WILL COST YOURSELF Money. Players Might as well work on them when they are young!!

He was in a team that was 12th on Boxing Day as we lost to Manchester City Joe Fagan get all the players back to melwood an said, I give up on you now, from now on you are on your f#####g own!!!! What happened?? They went on to win the League. I personally don't see this Liverpool FC team bein' able to win the Premier League as much as it pains me to admit or should we keep believin' that it can be done unless mathematically impossible. Would we be bein' delusional? Surely we can only aim for qualifyin' for the UEFA Champions League top 5 now? 🤔 #LFC

Before the season also started, himself and his team have planned what January transfer would look like: 1. If we’re in the bottom 3, there are certain players we would get 2. If we’re in the top 10, there are certain players we would also get. Now, his master strategy is to recruit young players, and maintain an average age. Sunderland were the youngest team in League one, the youngest in the championship and now the 3rd youngest in the premier league, only behind Chelsea & Brentford. Despite this master strategy, it’s just like in agile project management framework, your plan needs to be flexible to accommodate changes, he’s recruited “experience” in Xhaka and Reinildo, to guide the youth. Yes, I know I only want youth, but in this league, a little adjustment might be needed, I’ll add one or two experience players to guide them, and that’s what he’s done.
