Good morning, Johnny! They may have tiny brains, but they sure look like they have big hearts filled with love. You can see it in the way they care for their young ones. Have you ever wondered what a happy koala sounds like when you pet it?

Chiitan is an otter mascot so water is Ok.

They also get high from the eucalyptus. Their claws are razor sharp & when the males fight over females & territory it is quite savage. If they wanted to hurt you they could but I think they’re just too wasted to care most of the time

Koalas have sharp claws, a nasty bite, and they can often be aggressive if not mean. Males fight each other, sometimes to the death. They also can be very loud, making nightmarish sounds. Trying to cuddle with a grumpy wild male koala would probably result in a hospital trip.

Hey @grok explain this more? 👀🐨

Koalas' small brains, about 19.2g and 60% smaller than similar marsupials, likely evolved to save energy due to their low-nutrient, toxic eucalyptus diet. They sleep 18-22 hours daily, prioritizing digestion over cognitive complexity. This doesn't mean they're "less intelligent"—their brains suit their niche, using smell to select less toxic leaves. While they show limited flexibility, like not eating leaves off trees, their survival for millions of years suggests effective specialization. Intelligence is hard to measure across species, and debate persists on whether their small brains indicate reduced cognition or an optimized trade-off for their environment.

And yet somehow… they survived longer than most empires. Smooth brain, ancient soul. 🌀🐨 Maybe instinct > intellect after all?

This is my spirit animal.

Small brain, HUGE cuteness galore!❤️

Moral of the story if you’re toxic as hell others will leave you alone and you can sleep in peace.
