I lived in Germany. I talked to a basketball player. He told me that for the first 3 months of practices they didn’t shoot the ball ONCE. It was all fundamentals Chest passes Fast break passes Running plays

I think they struggle playing internationally when they send out their 3rd and 4th tier players. When they send out their best they typically dominate and it’s been that way for decades. Luka and Jokic represent the top 1% of European players and are all time greats.

Super athletic guys never impressed me. So, they can get to the basket and dunk! Whoopty, fuckin', doo! I've seen all the dunks anyway. I always think, can they shoot, pass and play D? Athleticism should be a bonus, not the end all, be all! That's all I hear them talk about at these drafts. Athleticism, Athleticism, Athleticism! It's like Jan Brady screaming "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!" LeBron shooting and defense were considered flaws but everyone was so fixated over his athleticism and passing ability. Especially with his length and size.

What’s missing is ball park games, no one plays in the parks no more unless it’s for AAU or tournaments. International players are way better fundamentally. Americans are just more athletic, if they worked on the core fundamentals with their athleticism, the USA would be feared in the basketball realm again.

The U.S. struggles playing internationally bc we rarely get all of our actually best players to play. Every other country sends their best every time. We don’t but when we do we shut all that shit down.

This gentleman is in a 7-Eleven in Thailand and he is noticing the prices and how much cheaper everything is there compared to the USA, like way less expensive. Tucker Carlson reported the same thing when he went shopping at a grocery store in Russia several months ago. This is our Government’s fault. All of these politicians have made it too expensive to live here. Why? They have exploited all of the citizens here and taxed them into oblivion while they got fat and rich. This is America, the number one consumer market in the world. We should have the cheapest prices here. This should make everyone angry on both sides of the aisle.
