Konami’s Metamorphic Force is a badass brawler where you transform into powerful anthropomorphic beasts. With massive sprites and a rocking soundtrack. it’s an arcade masterpiece of the 90s. Kinda feels like Altered Beasts younger cousin 😂🐯🔥

Konami’s Aliens is the ultimate love letter to the film. It trades the slow-burn dread for glorious, high-octane side-scrolling chaos. Whether you're roasting Xenomorphs with a flamethrower or piloting the Power Loader, it’s a non-stop adrenaline rush 🛸🔫

“It’s pushing the limits of what can be physically done. The loading on the ropes is extreme and the body is traveling at such a high rate of speed that it puts a great deal of strain on you” – Stuntman, Wayne Michaels on GOLDENEYE’s opening stunt, a record-breaking 640-foot dive off the top of the Lago di Vogorno dam in Switzerland.

Speed wobble (also known as death wobble) is a rapid side-to-side shaking of a bike's wheel that occurs at high speeds and can lead to loss of control. It presents as a quick (4–10 Hz) oscillation of primarily the steerable wheel.

“The Church is on the side of the immigrants. “It used to be that we would think of the church as aligned with right-wing parties. It’s not anymore. It is on the side of unity. It’s on the side of acceptance. It’s on the side of welcoming different peoples and different cultures. And the pope is saying that these are the things that help Europe grow as a culture and as a civilization.”

Taito’s Superman is a masterclass in shifting perspectives. One minute you’re a brawling powerhouse on the streets of Metropolis, the next you’re a high-speed projectile in a side-scrolling shoot 'em up 🦅✈️🦸‍♀️

Keep in mind, Christian Anderson shot 41.5% from 3 on a relatively high volume And over half of his 3PAs were unassisted and self created Add that on top of a strong 74.2% at the rim and a 2.3 ast/to ratio, and you have yourself a potential steal

Konami’s Gradius is the reason "power-up dependency" exists. If you die once, you lose everything and respawn as a slow, pathetic pea-shooter against a wall of lasers. It’s a death loop where you’re too weak to survive the very section that just killed you. Pure pain. 🚀💥

It’s like Cops, except instead of police and high-speed chases, it’s Jews with drones following you home over a dollar. The criminal in question should have known, though, that the Jewish community is the worst community to try a counterfeit bill on.

Here are the graphics we made at Intel. I work at Nike innovation now so don’t work on them anymore so not sure all the details for this version but basically we used cameras and computer vision to track each athlete in each lane. Because the cameras were calibrated to specific locations and each frame of video timestamped, we could get distance and time data which you can use to get speed, naturally. Feed the data to a 3D rendered stadium and overlay graphics, and voila. We chose to show speed at the end of each “phase” of the race which I based the location on the data we got from testing and common knowledge of the 100m. So stopping at 30m (drive) and 60 (maintenance) and the end was intentional. Looks like a white label indicates a leader at the end of the phase. The green thing at the front of their label looks to indicate if their are accelerating. This is a bit of a deception because you’re always either accelerating or decelerating. So what it’s actually an indication of is if you’re within a certain percentage of your top speed. The green at the end is graded based on that which is why it’s a gradient. Basically shows that Noah not only has the highest tops speed but holds it best. The final view is everyone’s top speed and where they hit it in the race. It’s freaking wild that Tobago hit his top speed so late.
