KOOL-AID PINEAPPLES IS CRAZY 😭 I used pineapple, freeze-dried raspberry powder, coconut water, fresh lime. Let it soak overnight. Cold, juicy, refreshing, and naturally sweet without all the extra stuff. No raspberry powder? ✨ a raspberry or strawberry electrolyte packet

💾 Okay I finally bought a Raspberry Pi 5 to make into a real retro computer as a proof of concept I love the Raspberry Pi much more than my ESP32 simply because I can SSH into it and it's just like a normal computer or server, the ESP32 required specific software to re-flash it everytime and it was TEDIOUS!!!! I need a fast feedback loop to develop with so all this flashing is too slow for me The Raspberry Pi 5 instead just runs Linux which then runs DOSBox-X to run Windows 3.11 install live downloaded from there so it stays fresh I then also got a Checkmate 19" IPS Retro Monitor by Stephen Jones (very indie and Kickstarter-style product) which is like a vintage retro PC monitor but with an OLED and it runs at 1280x1024, and the Raspberry Pi 5 has HDMI out so it works perfectly with it Then I got an 8BitDo retro IBM keyboard, but the spacebar broke, so I gotta send it back and get a new one, but it was great while it worked, so it's not in this video, and I got the 8BitDo retro mouse So altogether it's a proof of concept of a real vintage retro PC with internet and it works now My end goal is to make this into production and SELL it, not for money but more for fun because I think it should exist, just like Palmer Luckey's ModRetro Chromatic Gameboy-remake I'd go with something smaller than this 19" checkmate display though, it's great but too big for the Windows 3.11 era I think, more like 14" with a matching sized retro IBM-style keyboard and Windows 3.11 preinstalled (if legally allowed by Satya Nadella) with WiFi working out of the box We could also go with Windows 98/XP, because for me too Windows 3.11 was a very short time, so I too have vague memories of it, most of my computing memories is Windows 98/XP etc. Inside it could simply run on a Raspberry Pi 5 like here, which is easily powerful enough to run all of these OS'es I see many SF founders with Apple II's in their living room, and I guess cause Apple was more popular there back then, but in the rest of the world we were mostly IBM PCs and clones that ran Windows, so it's cool to have that as one retro object working with internet in your living room Anyway, step by step, we're here now 😊

The Magic Powers of Charcoal 🌿 Let me share with you why activated charcoal is one of the most powerful natural remedies you can have in your home. Why I Love Charcoal: It’s a Detox Powerhouse Activated charcoal binds to toxins, heavy metals, and chemicals in the body, flushing them out naturally. Whether it’s food poisoning, drug overdoses, or even a hangover, charcoal is my go-to for detoxification. It Soothes Digestive Troubles Whenever I feel bloated or gassy, I take charcoal, and it works wonders by absorbing excess air and toxins in the digestive tract. It’s like hitting the reset button for my gut! Skin Savior For bites, stings, or infections, I make a simple charcoal poultice, and it pulls out the toxins like magic. It’s also fantastic for acne and keeping my skin clear and healthy. Purifies Water I use charcoal to purify drinking water. It traps impurities, making my water clean and safe. Brightens My Smile I even use it to whiten my teeth! A little charcoal powder on my toothbrush helps remove stains and keeps my breath fresh. How I Use It: For detox: I mix a teaspoon of activated charcoal powder in water. For skin: I make a paste with charcoal and water to apply on bites or wounds. For everyday health: I keep it handy for unexpected issues like food poisoning or digestive upset. Charcoal is simple, safe, and versatile. If you haven’t tried it yet, I can’t recommend it enough—it truly feels like it has magic powers! #NaturalHealing #ActivatedCharcoal #Detox #HealingNaturally #WellnessJourney

Jews don't cook on Shabbat, so before sunset on Friday, we prepare a special dish that slowly cooks overnight. By lunchtime on Shabbat, it's ready to be served. The delicious aroma fills homes and synagogues all night long. I even know people who wake up in the middle of the night just to sneak a taste LOL! This Ashkenazi version is called Cholent. Sephardi Jews have their own version, and honestly, both are delicious. 😋 SAME DAY CHOLENT > OVERNIGHT CHOLENT SAME DAY CHOLENT RECIPE 1.2 kg beef short ribs or shin (bone-in) 150g dried pearl barley 200g dried cholent beans or butter beans (soaked overnight) 2 large onions, roughly chopped 6 garlic cloves, smashed 4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered 750 ml beef stock 2 tbsp tomato paste 2 tsp smoked paprika 1 tsp sweet paprika 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 3 tbsp schmaltz or neutral oil 2 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp honey 250 ml water, to top up 1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220°C). Pat beef short ribs completely dry with kitchen paper, season aggressively with salt and pepper 2. Heat schmaltz or neutral oil in a large heavy dutch oven over the highest heat and sear all beef short ribs in batches, don't overcrowd the pan and brown deeply on all sides. In the same pot, add large onions and cook until deeply golden and caramelised, around 10 mins Add garlic and cook for another 2 mins. Add tomato paste, smoked paprika, sweet paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and stir into the onions and garlic. Cook for 2 mins until the paste darkens slightly Add in drained cholent beans, dried barley, beef short ribs, potatoes, chicken stock and water. Add honey and add bone marrow with bones Bring pot to boiling; once boiling, put lid on tightly and transfer to preheated oven. Cook at heat for 45 mins Without opening the lid, reduce oven temperature to 320 degrees Fahrenheit (160°C) and cook for further 3.5 hours. DON'T OPEN THE LID! Once finished, remove lid and let rest for 10 mins. Serve immediately

Cleavers Cold Water Infusion 🌿✨ Cleavers (Galium aparine) Also Known as Sticky Weed, it sticks to your clothes. Cleavers is a gentle yet powerful herb packed with benefits: 💚Supports the lymphatic system, aiding detoxification 💦Acts as a natural diuretic, reducing water retention 🌿Soothes inflammation & supports skin health 🩸Helps purify the blood & boost immunity This cooling herbal infusion is perfect for daily hydration & gentle cleansing! Harvesting: Cleavers can be harvested from early spring until late summer, thriving in most wild places. They tend to become dry and straggly later in the season, so pick them when fresh and vibrant for the best results! Recipe: 🌿1 handful of fresh cleavers (foraged or organic) 💦1 liter of cold, filtered water 1. Rinse cleavers thoroughly. 2. Place Chopped Cleavers in a jar & cover with cold water.t. 3.Let infuse for 4–12 hours (or overnight) in the fridge. The longer it’s left to infuse the more poten 4.Strain & enjoy chilled! How to Drink: ‼️Don’t drink it all at once—it’s a diuretic! With herbs, small doses frequently are best. I like having ½ cup of cleavers cold infusion every few hours throughout the day for gentle, ongoing support. Storage: You could probably keep it in the fridge, covered, for one additional day maximum - but I prefer to make it fresh each day. We’re trying to capture the fresh essence of the plant ... there’s no point in keeping it longer, plus, it might go off! Fresh is best.

🥒HIGH PROTEIN MEDITERRANEAN CUCUMBER SALAD This is super fresh, crunchy, creamy, packed with protein, and one of those easy meals you can throw together in under 15 minutes and feel really good after eating. It’s light but filling, loaded with texture, and gives serious Mediterranean food vibes without needing a ton of ingredients. Makes 2 huge servings. This is such a great healthy easy lunch or light high protein dinner. Here is how I made it: 1.Start by browning 12oz of lean ground beef (I used 90/10) in a pan over medium heat. Season it with 1 tbsp oregano, 1 tbsp sweet paprika, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1/2 tbsp garlic powder, and generous salt and pepper. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. I go a little longer here at the end on medium-high heat at the end for about 5-7 mins to almost crisp up the beef. 2.While that’s going. slice 5-6 Persian cucumbers and add them to a large bowl or 2 jars with 1/4 finely diced red onion and 1 small cubed avocado. Add the cooked ground beef on top. with 3 tbsp thick greek yogurt, 2-3 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley and mint, a couple squeezes of fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp crumbled feta, 1 tsp red chili flakes, and a pinch of salt and pepper. 4.Toss everything together really well, and enjoy immediately. This is one of those easy healthy meals that’s light, high protein, but also refreshing and helps you feel good after! If you make it, let me know on SHREDHAPPENS! ENJOY! . . . . . . #healthyrecipes #healthyfoodshare #lowcarb #lowcarbrecipes #keto
