Aang calmed a whole volcano without the Avatar state, using only AIR. Korra would have used the Avatar State and still lost to the volcano, killing everyone in that village. Again, Korra wasn’t an Avatar. She was only a manipulator of elements. That said, God punish Korra.

Doc, why do you hate Korra so much? While her mates like Aang were using the Avatar State to bring peace in the world and solve real world problems, just look at what this Gbavatar was doing. Korra turned the Avatar State into nitrous boost to win a race. Even Aang that was so playful never did this. No wonder she is the reason behind the chaos in the new Avatar Series, The Seven Havens. Our hate for her has been canonized. She’s now officially the most useless Avatar in World History. I rest my case.

We read this correctly btw. The official avatar account themselves state the title directly refers to whatever the public believes Korra did in order to have that label be placed on avatars after her. Therefore Korra WAS the first avatar to be known as “humanity’s destroyer.”

Yet Unalaq mastered dark water bending to the point where he destroyed Raava herself He ended the entire Avatar cycle in one move and Korra still got up and defeated him after all of that. Tell me again why she is not the greatest Avatar???

Average Korra fact: Korra was literally seconds away from killing Kuvira the moment she entered the Avatar State. The only thing that saved Kuvira was Korra’s PTSD kicking in. If Korra didn’t freeze up from the trauma, Kuvira was finished right there.
