"Korra was weak" ok so.. Physically, she held her own against Kuvira, even while dealing with lingering trauma. But when Kuvira overpowered her, it wasn’t because Korra was weak. it was because she was still recovering. PTSD doesn’t just go away 😕

People always bring up this fight instead of the 2nd one where Korra was back at her peak and Kuvira literally ran away

Kuvira is quite literally the what if Azula was an earth bender, & like 15 years older & more experienced. The fact that Korra was able to last as long as she did would still prove immense strength. Kuviras talent is matched by like 3 people across both series

I noticed that the writers consistently had to weaken Korra in her fights; otherwise, the seasons would have ended too soon.

After season 2 Korra’s enemies couldn’t directly fight her. The RL knew not to try and the two times any of them engaged she was chained up (w/one of those times also poisoned) so they went more tactical than power. We saw once Korra’s head was Kuvira was struggling

she was getting violated before avatar state😭 her ptsd doesn’t kick in till she has the advantage

“Held her own” is crazy

She was getting washed without the Avatar state, she didn’t hold nothing, secondly she’s the one who accepted the challenge, she went into the fight willingly knowing she had a problem, it was her own mistake

If you ask me, Zelda did a impeccable job voicing Kuvira. Let's say Robin - the Genie - would be appeased.
