We are taking up several initiatives to position Andhra Pradesh as a leading destination not only for tourism, but also for film tourism, culture, performing arts and culinary experiences. Andhra Pradesh offers a diverse range of breathtaking locations that are ideal for film shootings. From scenic landscapes and pristine beaches to historic monuments, spiritual destinations and vibrant cultural spaces, our state has immense potential to become a preferred destination for filmmakers from across India and around the world. We are working towards further strengthening Film Tourism in Andhra Pradesh and creating a film-friendly ecosystem. Our rich cultural heritage is another great strength. Kuchipudi, one of India’s renowned classical dance forms, is the pride of Andhra Pradesh. Like Kathak, Odissi and Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi has earned global recognition for its unique traditions, grace and storytelling. We are committed to promoting Kuchipudi on a much larger platform and taking this magnificent art form to audiences across the world. Another important aspect we wish to showcase is ‘Andhra Ruchulu’ – the authentic flavours of Andhra cuisine. Our food reflects the rich culture, traditions and diversity of the state. Through the promotion of culinary tourism, we aim to introduce the distinctive tastes of Andhra Pradesh to visitors from India and across the globe, while creating opportunities for culinary institutions and local food traditions to flourish. Film Tourism, Kuchipudi and Andhra Ruchulu represent the creative and cultural identity of our state. Our vision is to make Andhra Pradesh a global destination where tourism, cinema, culture, art and cuisine come together to offer unique experiences to visitors. IANS

Mathura’s identity lies in its rich heritage, while its future is tied to development. The Yogi Adityanath government is working to preserve Mathura’s ancient cultural legacy while strengthening modern infrastructure and its tourism ecosystem. A balanced approach that is winning appreciation among locals and reflects Yogi Ji’s vision for Mathura’s future. #YogiInMathura

The first track from #Krishnavataram is out, grand in scale, rich in devotion, and deeply anchored in our civilizational roots. This doesn’t feel like just another film; it has the potential to become a defining cinematic moment on Hindu heritage.

Rare to see Shri Devkinandan Thakur ji personally urging Hindu families to watch a film together. That itself says a lot. Not every movie is just made for entertainment. Some are made to remind us of our culture, values, and faith. #Krishnavataram looks like a sincere attempt to bring Bhagwan Krishna’s divine journey and Sanatan culture to the big screen.

When audiences remove their shoes before watching a film, it reflects the deep cultural connection and reverence this story has created. A story that held with faith and conviction is now touching hearts far and wide. People are loving #Krishnavataram and are emotionally connecting to it

Authenticity is not just about the past — it's about living traditions, identity and future growth. The International Conference on Cultural Heritage in Africa is leading a global dialogue on how to reshape it. Let’s redefine heritage with African voices at the center.

A renowned singer like Lagnajita Chakraborty being harassed by a TMC leader just because she was about to sing "Jago Maa", with the crowd shouting to sing a ‘secular’ song, is a direct assault on our culture and faith. What kind of secularism is this? Bengal’s identity has always been rooted in its spiritual and cultural traditions. When cultural expression is policed and faith is selectively targeted, it raises serious questions about the direction in which Bengal is being pushed. Time for change has come! Paltano Darkar, Chai BJP Sarkar!

Russia has stolen 1.7 million items of Ukrainian cultural heritage — from ancient artifacts to museum collections. This is not mere looting; it is an attempt to erase Ukraine's identity. Russia’s war against Ukraine is also a war against our memory, culture, and our right to exist. The theft and destruction of Ukrainian heritage is Russia’s deliberate policy. We call on the international community to ensure accountability for these crimes and to protect Ukraine’s cultural legacy.

Africa does not need to abandon its culture to achieve greatness. Our traditions are not a barrier to development, they are the foundation of our identity, dignity, and strength. The Kingdom of Eswatini stands as a shining example that preserving culture is not living in the past, it is protecting the soul of a nation. While the world races toward modernity, Eswatini continues to honour its customs, monarchy, and heritage with pride. I salute His Majesty Mswati III for his steadfast commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage and identity of the Kingdom of Eswatini. Such leadership reminds us that a nation which honours its roots builds a stronger future. Africa’s progress must never come at the expense of its identity. Let us celebrate our languages, traditions, attire, values, and heritage, for they define who we are. Our culture is not our weakness, it is our greatest strength. Preserve it. Protect it. Pass it on.

A truly inspiring address by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, today. The Hon’ble Prime Minister very aptly highlighted the deep historical and cultural bonds between India and Malaysia and emphasized the vital role of the Indian diaspora as a living bridge between the two nations. 🇮🇳🇲🇾 His words celebrating Tamil heritage “Tamil is India’s gift to the world. Tamil literature is eternal, and Tamil culture is global” were deeply heartening. The announcement regarding the establishment of a Thiruvalluvar Centre further reflects a strong commitment to promoting India’s civilisational legacy. Such initiatives strengthen cultural ties and carry our rich heritage across the globe.

The film #Dhurandhar conveys a powerful message that the Baloch people possess a very rich culture and deep traditions. At the same time, it exposes how their rights in Pakistan are systematically violated by Pakistani intelligence agencies. The film also highlights that Pakistan’s entire system and political structure are deeply corrupted and controlled by mafia-like networks.
